An outstanding stay! We were sooo comfortable! We were welcomed along with our dog! The Casa had all sorts of “goodies” for breakfast and snacks. Very clean and comfortable stay! Great information about things to do in the surroundings. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful and we hope to be able to stay the next time we visit!

This property surpassed all expectations! Elaine was quick to respond to any questions. It was clean, great location, and well stocked (including breakfast food and snacks!)I highly recommend Bessie’s Landing.

This location is very walkable to every tourist site in the city and the grocery store. If you are tired of all the driving, this is the place where you can park the car and walk. This city has 30 events every year, so most weekends there is something going on here. There are lots of places to stay in Jefferson, but Elaine is a very generous host, She had blueberry bread, 3 bottles of wine, coke, orange juice, milk, two different types and all the fixing for a wonderful breakfast including bacon. The first night there we were tired from our trip and everything we needed was already there. This is a lovely place to stay with your loved ones.

This was a great stay. The host lives on the same property, so was able to greet us when we arrived. We loved the house and the ability to walk into downtown (10-15 minutes). We were surprised that the refrigerator, pantry, and wine rack were stocked with items available for our use. We had planned to grab some items from the grocery store (a block away), but did not need to. We had no issues during the stay, but if there had been any, I am sure our host would have dealt with them immediately.

The hosts offered a wonderful place to stay. Bessie's Landing was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. It was also walking distance to downtown shops, the local grocery store, and a number of Jefferson's many historic homes.

Nothing but good things to say about this adorable cottage. The Hosts were so great! The fridge was stocked with everything we could have wanted….the decor was delightful and the location was perfect, if you want to enjoy Jefferson and all it has to see and do But, if your wanting to relax, sitting on the porch listening to the waterfall and enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine is perfection! We will come again!

Impromptu trip to a part of Texas we had never visited. Found this gem of a stay there in Jefferson. It was all I had hoped for and more. The owners were friendly, yet let us have our space. The rental was the cleanest rental I have EVER been to, at any price. The kitchen was stocked with everything for breakfast. It is roomy enough to feel right at home. All the information supplied about the town was very informative and interesting. I hate to give too good of a review as maybe it will be too popular and we will never get a chance to visit again, which we hope to do in the future. This is a WONDERFUL place!!!

We had a great time staying at the cottage. Elaine was a very gracious and courteous host. She made us feel right at home. The cottage was very cozy and close to downtown. So,it made site seeing and shopping very convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

Loved my stay at Bessie's Landing. Elaine and her husband are outstanding hosts. Enjoyed our visits. The cottage is lovely, fully stocked with whatever you may need, super clean, comfortable, and close to everything. Highly recommend and will book again!
