Our seven families met at this hotel and stayed here last week for two night. We were in town for our mom’s memorial service. This hotel was very disappointing… questionable cleanliness in most of our rooms. Roaches in several rooms. In fact one was so bad they counted 18. Needless to say they asked for a different room. Later we were in the lobby and saw roaches there and in the women’s bathroom. It’s a shame because the facility itself was a good space. Poor management I suppose. It definitely was not up to the Hilton standard.

I made reservations around July for October 6-9. So in August I called Homewood suites and asked if I could change the reservation date to Oct 7-9. They changed the date and everything was great! I get down there on Saturday find out I still needed to pay 50.00 for some kind of hold fee. ok I let that go. Come Sunday Homewood suites call me and tell me I need to pay for another night because their staff that wasn't trained properly messed up the reservation. No one called to say that the second reservation I made was changed. I was very confused because no body said nothing when I checked in. The Lady behind the desk on Sunday October 8th around 2-3pm was very rude and unprofessional. I rate this company a F. Homewood blame customers for their mistakes. I want ever stay in that hotel again. Teach your employers some customer service skills.

First of all, the shower was very slippery. It was difficult to take a shower because the tub was so slick. The bed was extremely hard. The breakfast was good, and the room stayed cool.

I made reservations bc my grand-daughter was in a softball tournament. I received a call from the hotel stating their elevators were out & my room was on the 3rd floor. we had not checked in yet, so I asked if they would cancel without a fee. Pool was out of order, elevators did not work, hotel was old and smelled of mildew, we were put in a room that had a window facing a bar and all we heard all night was yelling cussing fighting and cars racing, not to mention the floor above us had a room full of kids that were loud jumping off furniture and running around! After a long trip on the road all I wanted was a clean, quiet, well kept facility and this was not and I did not get any sleep. Very disappointed in this 3 star hotel

Staff was great, maintenance was an issue
Bathroom ceiling on first floor leaded overnight causing all my items on the counter to get soaked, and the floor to have a puddle. You could tell from the ceiling that this is not a new or one time issue. The elevator did not work, and the did not know when it would be repaired. They were having to turn guests away.

The TV don’t get any channels. They are worthless. The say DIRECTV with no decent channels. Toilet I very powered-all or nothing. Could’ve been attentive with breakfast items. Food was average and had to find someone to replenish. Suites were nice size. Bathroom huge. Great fresh cookies provided later in the day. Desk personnel friendly and helpful.

Disappointing
Terribly disappointed here. I’ll start by saying that front desk worker, Decedric, was super. He was working constantly, by himself, to maintain everything up front in the lobby. Kudos to him for working his tail off. Everything else was a disappointment. The property is worn down, but that’s ok if it’s clean, but this one was not. It’s messy outside and dirty inside. The first room we were in was not cleaned properly…. Bathroom floor was not swept or mopped, waste basket had trash in it and there were live bugs on the bedside table. Only one other room available and the sink did not drain properly, but we opted for it because at least there were no bugs in it. Could not get any rest, however, because the people above us were so loud until 4:30 the next morning. Definitely not what I expected from a Hilton property.

I checked in a little after midnight and the lady at the front was very helpful, cheerful, and polite. The next morning when I was walking out she had the same great energy after working all night.

My room was quiet, shower had excellent water pressure, AC got the room cooled off very quickly and my room was very spacious. My nephew and little cousins kicked their ball over the fence and Cedrick from the front desk went above and beyond to help us get it back. In regards to the facility, there was water damage in the ceiling that was an eyesore. The mattress had a big indentation and could've been more firm. I would stay here again
