Wake up to the sounds and views of the ocean. 180-degree ocean view from kitchen, living /dinning room and bedroom, granite counters in kitchen and bathroom, whirlpool bathtub, fireplace in living area. Fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes towels, shampoo and Neutrogena baTH GET linens, beach towels etc.. Guest house with own parking and private entrance. Dine in your private deck overlooking the ocean and zuma beach. Close to supermarket, Starbucks and more. Price includes welcome starter basket.

Amazing find in Malibu
It was out second time staying here and we absolutely love it! The location, ocean view and cleanliness of the home are unbeatable, especially for the price. We grilled fresh fish every night and had close access to the best beaches and hiking areas Malibu can offer.We could not be happier to stay here!

Amazing!
This place was a fantastic retreat for me and my fiancée. The views from the balcony are incredible and its hard to beat the location right there in Malibu, across the street is Zuma beach and the mountains behind you. We also got a nice welcome package and enjoyed using the grill for dinner. Would definitely come again! Olivia was a very nice host and easy to communicate with. One note for newcomers to the property just to be a little cautious with the automatic gate the first time leaving the property. It caught us off a little off guard when we were backing out of the carport and the gate started to automatically open. Wasn't an issue after we realized it could trigger like that, but first time, good thing to consider.

Excellent Malibu experience
We came away wishing we had planned a longer stay here. The property is very beautiful, easily accessed, clean and very well-equipped. I like to cook and was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen had everything I needed. It is close to the highway, but you can still hear the ocean and the noise didn't bother us at all. We had a great time and would come back here in a heartbeat.

Perfect stay in Malibu
This property was probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The view of the Pacific was amazing and we were so close to some of the best beaches in Malibu. Starbucks and a grocery store just a few minutes away. The property was very clean, with lots of towels and bed sheets. Welcome basket with beer and wine was a nice way to start our stay. We really enjoyed using the beach chairs and shovels/baskets for the beach. There is sun block spray and some other toiletries in case you forget to pack some. We used the pool and hot tub and the water was clean and a comfortable temperature. I can go on and on. Olivia was super helpful and nice, I would absolutely stay here again!

Olivia's place is a slice of heaven. Between the stunning views (the balcony is ideal for a lovely dinner) and the peaceful location, it was difficult to leave! Olivia is the perfect hostess, with thoughtful touches. By far the very best VRBO experience. And, everything was spotless! It’s such an ideal location!

Anniversary Trip
We were on vacation in Southern California for a week and were lucky enough to be able to spend our first two nights in this beautiful home. Our host was gracious and left water, beer and wine for our enjoyment. The bed was super comfortable and the views were amazing. We would most definitely stay here again.

Everything was exactly as advertised. There was an issue with the WiFi - which was not the owner's fault at all. It just happened when we were there - just our luck ... It’s a lovely property however I was unaware how close it was to the owner’s home - right next to it! So it didn’t feel very private, particularly for honeymooners (which the host was aware of). The pool and jacuzzi (it isn’t a hot tub - it doesn’t get hot) are behind their home, so it felt very awkward using them knowing there were people right there. They also had children / visitors while we were there, so that was also awkward when you’re in swimwear and a child suddenly appears and then they’re running about and shouting (I realise that’s what kids do but I wasn’t expecting any other people, let alone kids, to be there). My husband didn’t feel comfortable going outside when others were there, so we didn’t actually explore the gardens as it felt like we were intruding. So it wasn’t quite the perfect honeymoon find I thought it was going to be! The road noise is of course very loud, as expected, but was actually far worse than expected. It was impossible to relax outside during the day, the traffic is constant. If you’re used to traffic noise you might not think it’s so bad, but we’re not. The welcome basket was very nice and the property itself gorgeous inside, with a nice living area and his and hers bathroom with walk in wardrobe, ideal for us to hang up some of our evening wear. It was a pleasant enough base for what we wanted to do and see in California but not quite the private retreat the listing implied so for this reason we wouldn’t select it again.

Rest and Relaxation
I booked this property to decompress after the Stagecoach country music festival. It was amazing. The grounds were gorgeous, the views were amazing, and it was right down the street from the best beaches in Malibu. Highly recommend trying Vintage Grocers if you book a stay here. Great food. The Burrito bowls are delicious.
