I like this place cuz it let us check in at 4a.m. and only charged us $75.00. Everything was great. I used to know someone who worked as a dealer at Bicycle Club but that was before this hotel was ever built. They did a good job in building up and leave ample parking. I like to park my own car so I never used valet even it's free. The location is surrounded by fast food restaurants such as my favorite Jack in the Box plus Applebee and International House of Pancakes. The only thing I didn't quite like is to be gawked by gamblers walking up. I lived in Los Angeles for 13 years but never in that industrial neighborhood. I'm glad I took this opportunity to explore South Gate, Downey, and Pico Rivera although they are the pits of San Gabriel Valley, a far, far cry from West Los Angeles or Diamond Bar where I used to live. I'm glad the area has not gotten worse, at least not what I saw driving down Telegraph Avenue to catch the Santa Ana Freeway. The Thursday morning commute to UCLA took a whopping two hours, and Friday, hour and twenty minutes. But those are expected. I think if they lower their price by twenty dollars a night they will get a lot more hotel guests. I think this review you ask for is too long at one thousand five hundred characters and I had better get the free night you promised. By the way, the next hotel I booked on Hotels.com turned out to be terrible, I guess that's my luck. Remember, there is only one Bicycle Club in the world and it's in LA.
