I was warned when I checked in that the hotel was loud but nothing could prepare me for the loud banging, screaming and music playing until 4am on some days. I barely slept during my stay and would strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless you like sleeping in a nightclub.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tommie. It’s a nice, clean hotel with an excellent location - walking distance to so many things being literally one block over from Hollywood Blvd. The staff was friendly/helpful. I absolutely loved my room and how cute and clean it was, although a mini fridge would’ve been nice. I’m actually surprised at how clean the hotel is considering how busy it is. About the noise - I feel like people always complain about noise in hotel reviews, but this time it was actually accurate. It gets LOUD on Fri/Sat nights. I could definitely hear the music bumpin but I think it stopped around 2am. Noise doesn’t really bother me though AND they did give a warning about the noise at check in which I appreciate. I did valet for the 3 days I was there - fast and friendly service. I would stay here again! I felt safe and comfortable for a solo female guest.

New hotel. Excellent location for transport and restaurants. Young, accommodating and helpful staff. Adequate level of cleanliness. Nice possibility to have a drink on the rooftop with a panoramic view of the Hollywood Hills. Only downside: no minibar in the room; slightly noisy room; dilapidated area around the hotel.

Was a great stay, for being a night life esque hotel it was quiet at night, but gets very busy in the evening/night with non hotel people in the lobby, elevator, and outside as one of the 2 bars on the lot is on the roof. The room fits well for young travelers, but definitely missed having a fridge in the room as there is not one. The staff was very attentive to fixing issues. It was a nice touch to be able to text the front desk for assistance.

We had a good time at this spot! We just hated that the restaurant opened at like 6pm and closed at 11pm. We had a concert at the Hollywood Bowl at 7pm, so did not have enough time for dinner before the show, and we came back too late to get dinner afterwards. We stayed at the hotel because of the convenience of staying so close to the Bowl. Parking was easy (albeit expensive), but it similar to the cost of similar quality hotels. We thought the room was tiny, but we only needed it for sleeping that night, so it was perfect. Staff were knowledgeable and welcoming.

I wanted to rate this good, as the room was beautiful and comfortable. My biggest issue is that it was so loud. Not certain what bar it was coming from, I think the rooftop bar, but the music was pumping until 2am. Which a little is okay but my room was pounding. Very frustrating. The pool was not quite what was expected. There was a water dispenser available, and the drinks from the bar were allowed but there wasn’t service up there and the beds/chairs were all covered in towels and not very clean.

The property was immaculately clean and the bedding was luxurious. In the evening, the music and noise from surrounding bars/street was 9/10 loud into the early hours of the morning. I’m not sure you could even hope to sleep through it without earplugs. The stay was wonderful but the noise on Saturday and Sunday night has to be noted for those who intend on getting some sleep.

It was a great spot, I was able to walk to all the places I needed and wanted to go to and then return at night. I am a Single female and felt just fine walking around this hotel during the day and coming back at night. It was clean, very nice - It is a late night spot and the front desk let me. know that when I checked in, which was very nice of them. It didn't bother me and I was grateful they let me know. Really enjoyed staying here and will be returning!

Rooms, as indicated, are small, but who wants to spend all there time in a hotel room? Lack of in-room coffee is just a bad planning, who wants to have to go down to the Lobby to get coffee? Maybe at a Motel 6, but not here. Also, as others have mentioned, the rooms are advertised as "sound proof" but they are not "percussion-proof" as the thumping from the on-site restaurant was notable. If you don't like in-room coffee and love nightlife, you'll love it. Would we go back? Sure, with a smuggled in coffee maker, and better earplugs.

Upon arrival, we were informed that we would not be able to use the pool or topside bar/restaurant; due to a private party reserving the facilities for the duration of our stay. (Wed-Fri) As we had anticipated on using those facilities as a meeting point; we were left with NO on site option. We were instructed to go to the "sister" location "around the corner. This was truly disappointing. Will not return.

We thought the hotel was wonderful, but wished there was a coffee maker in the room. Overall though, highly recommend. We were staying there due to its proximity to the Bourbon Room. The Hollywood Blvd area is kind of sketchy, but we never felt unsafe.

Die Unterkunft an sich war sehr nett. Modern eingerichtet und alles was man benötigt. Bei der Ankunft fanden wir Haare des vorherigen Gastes im Bad, eine alte Kontaktlinse sowie eine aufgerissene Packung Elektrolyt. Sowas geht besser. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Bar neben dem Empfang war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang wirkten sehr arrogant und hochnäsig. Kein „Hello“, wenn man vorbei lief , kein Blickkontakt - schade. In den drei Tagen gab es zwei mal einen Feueralarm. Eine richtige Evakuierung fand nicht statt. Die Treppenhäuser waren teilweise voll gestellt - es wurden keine Kontrollen veranlasst, ob alle Gäste die Zimmer verlassen haben. Die Sicherheit steht wohl nicht im Vordergrund. Gegenüber gibt es einen Public Parkplatz für 40$ die Nacht. An sich fand ich die vielen Obdachlosen die sich auf der Straße und an der Ecke vor dem Hotel aufhielten sehr beängstigend. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts, aber es fließt einfach in den Gesamteindruck mit ein. Wir würden beim nächsten Mal ein anderes Hotel buchen. Einrichtung hat uns gut gefallen.

Fine for a night - clean room. Check in staff was nice but either she or the restaurant/cafe staff gave me incorrect information about using my Expedia dining and drink coupons. Also this is a "Nightlife" hotel, which means it is very loud until late.

We apologize if the music disturbed your stay. We are a nightlife hotel surrounded by nightlife hotels in central Hollywood and advertise our hours and events online and inform all guests at check-in; apologies if this was missed.

Great location, lovely hotel. Elena did great daily cleaning service. The only thing I would change is having creamer options for coffee, I ended up paying $10 per day for a good tasty coffee option there all because they only had milk. Coffee lovers will understand.
