"It was a perfect setup for what we needed. Erica was very accommodating and has a great eye for decor. She was able to address ALL cabin necessities. Loved that she had so many game options for little and big including croquet and ping pong. We will definitely try to make it back again next year!"

"We had a wonderful stay in the Northwoods at the Cabernet Cabin! It's on a great spot on a quiet lake. The cabin is clean and cozy. The owners Kathleen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. Lots to do and see in the area - it's an easy drive into Hayward for shopping and dining. A great escape from city life!"

"Cabin was perfect for our stay. Just the right size exactly what the description was. The only issue was the towels that were provided smelled awful like mildew. Could not use them at all. Other than that was a good stay. "

Everything we could possibly need was right at our fingertips. We loved the beverage center, patio and grill area, outdoor courts, and certainly the lake and fire pit area! When we needed assistance with a laundry hook-up and a light switch, Mary and Dan responded immediately; and with such genuine kindness, concern, and professionalism. They were both so very sweet.What truly set this stay apart was the incredible hospitality and attentiveness of the team. "We enjoyed our visit at Matson Lake Lodge! A group of 14 gals all had plenty of space to spread out, eat and play games together. We put the hot tub and fire pit to good use, and the property had plenty of space for yard games which we appreciated. The property is secluded and quiet, which was lovely. We would definitely be back!"
