"Good communication from property manager before arrival. House is at the end of a long rural lane, we enjoyed the seclusion but a vehicle is essential to get anywhere. House well laid out well equipped. Fans available as very hot when arrived. Pool, outside kitchen and grounds very well kept. Lovely views and great sunsets from the infinity pool. Plenty of pool loungers and chairs. Great stay had by all. "

"This property is full of character and makes for an unforgettable holiday. The pool is larger than average and, in June, already warm. the kitchen is huge and extremely well-equipped, and we spent most time there and outside. The dining room and salon are of country-mansion proportions, and it is easy to pretend you are lord of the manor. "We stayed in Beaucele for two week weeks in August. We wanted to canoe on the Cele and the location of the house was perfect for this. There were five of us in total, myself and four teenagers ranging from 13 to 17. We brought our own canoes, but there are many well organised businesses renting canoes for very reasonable prices including the transfer to your starting point, which might be a simpler way of doing this. Philippe kindly drove me back to where I had left the car at our starting point...

"Chez papi et mamie : tout est dans le titre ! Maison assez spacieuse avec un grand jardin et une place de parking mais elle est vieillotte voire très défraîchie. Si on laisse de côté les chaises branlantes, les volets qui ferment mal ou le papier peint décollé, la literie est confortable, la TV et le Wifi fonctionnent bien et le quartier est calme. "Bon séjour, bonne communication avec le propriétaire des lieux, maison spacieuse pour 11 personnes ! Manque de propreté en général ! Araignées...fourmis...protéges matelas et oreillers douteux ! "Le jardinier nous a laissé les cles , ne connaissait pas la maison , n'avait pas le code pour la WIfi . Pour la sortie nous étions prets à 9h00 avons envoyé des messages à la femme de ménage sans réponse et au jardinier qui nous a répondu à 10h que l'on pouvait partir en laissant les clés dans la boite à clé il n'était pas au courant de notre départ ! "I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable — right in the middle of the medieval city and just below the Sanctuary. It’s perfect for exploring Rocamadour on foot. The hotel feels new and modern inside, even though it’s set in such a historic area. My room was spacious, very clean, and had a comfortable bed, a sofa bed, and a modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet (18 euros) was excellent — plenty of choice and good quality. I was also able to park just outside the city gate, about 200 meters from the hotel, for €6.50 overnight and then I had the perfect parking spot for the next day, which was very convenient. It was the perfect place to stay for one night so I could enjoy Rocamadour early in the morning before the tourists arrived. The only small downside was the hair dryer — one of those typical weak hotel ones that take forever to dry your hair. Also, the town is very quiet after 7 p.m. (I was there on a Wednesday in late October), with most places closed, including restaurants. Even though the hotel’s restaurant is open, the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m., and there weren’t many people around, so the atmosphere felt a bit dull. I ended up having dinner at the restaurant just outside the city gate, which was the only lively place that evening. Overall, a great stay — comfortable, clean, and ideally located for discovering beautiful Rocamadour"
