Perfect Spot for a Bourbon Getaway

Three of us stayed at this cozy A-frame while visiting Louisville for a long bourbon weekend, and it was perfect. The house had a great vibe—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—but the highlight was definitely the fire pit. We ended every night out there. It made the whole trip even better. Highly recommend!

The perfect spot to unwind and relax

Beautiful acreage nestled in the hillside just outside Taylorville and Mt Washington. A small creek borders the bottom of the property which the kids loved. We spent alot of time just enjoying the peace and quiet outside around the fire pit. We did have one lil issue but the owners were quick to fix and very apologetic. Overall a great experience, would definitely stay again.

Good place to stay.

The house is really nice, very clean very relaxing. Had a couple issues and they were resolved quickly by the owner. Was impressed on how quickly they responded and their concern over the issue. Overall it was a great stay we enjoyed the quiet location the views were great. Plenty of things to do in the area and some really good places to eat as well. Would stay there again anytime.

A beautiful property tucked away in the back roads of Spencer County, this cabin had everything that a group of 4 young professionals needed for a short weekend getaway. It is close enough to Louisville metro area to take advantage of all that Louisville has to offer, but is remote enough to provide a quiet, peaceful and relaxing space to unwind and get away from the bustle of everyday life.

Annual Trip

This was a great stay for my friends and I. We have been coming to Kentucky for our annual trip for five years. This was by the far the most privacy we have had. This is a location that is not in a neighborhood and provides a good amount of isolation and privacy. The house was very nice and there is a lot of property to look around. This definitely has great potential for us to choose again. Not a single issue with this spot. Hated to leave.

Amazin Place Amazing Experience

Needed a weekend getaway and was completely blown away. Exceeded all expectations! The place was clean, cozy, home feel, complete kitchen (toaster, blender, cookware, cups, wine glasses, anything you could need). 2 full baths, laundry room, rooms were big and cozy with TVs, karaoke machine, telescope, metal detector, big picnic area with table, large outdoor grill (bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid), AC, Heater (touch thermostat), rocking chairs, 2 fire pits, swing set, close to a Dollar General 2 mins away in case you forget something like I did haha. Honestly there is so much room you can do so much more. Will definitely go back in the summer for picnics and soccer down by the field. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. The glass windowns make it an absolute wonderful experience.
