「We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop.
It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay.」

「The property itself was lovely, clean, well presented, and in a fantastic beach location.
Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by several unexpected issues that only appeared after booking through Expedia.
The listing showed that dogs stay free, yet during the online check‑in I was charged £50 for my dog (£25 per night). I was also asked to pay a £30 non‑refundable damages insurance. None of these costs were disclosed upfront, and had they been, I would not have booked.

「Minus:) carpets in the corridors where filthy, there was an unpleasant smell . Found cobwebs in the corners of the room out of reach. Good :) the bed was comfortable kitchen was good.」

「Fabulous location, great house for 3 couples with 3 bathrooms.
We had such a lovely stay. The accommodation was perfect for our family get together, ideally located with 3 pubs in walking distance and so close to the water too. The house is managed by a a friendly helpful team.
We would definitely recommend, and would return.」
