「The walled garden was lovely in the sunny autumn weather. My Room 234 was special.
Noticed a small cutback in the menu options since my last visit.
eg No chowder.
But I will be back asap. I love Ballymscanlon」

「Innisfree House is amazing. It is over a century old Edwardian townhouse owned by Robert DeNiro’s doppelgänger. He is an excellent host a pours a fabulous shot of TyrConnell whiskey and is a great conversationalist and family man.
Our room was opulent and cozy.
Breakfast was served in the dining room every morning with a variety of choices from the menu. This was included with the room.
There is a coffee shop and market directly across the street.
The lady who runs the place is Gitte,( I...

「Really clean, modern room, comfortable beds and decent shower. Plenty of storage for a couple of nights. Lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. Room could benefit from a hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities but appreciate its basic. Handy location near to plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.」

「This is a great place to stay with a pub close by owned by the same family. The lodges are beautifully designed and well furnished. The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The host was very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed visiting the pub whilst we were there. It’s an easy drive to either Newry (where we were visiting family) or Carlingford and the Greenway. I’d definitely...
