「Great for kids. My kids loved the big bedroom with the bunk beds and loft bed. Grill wasn’t the best but I luckily brought my own. The tap water wasn’t drinkable. Those are small gripes for the price though. Overall a great stay.」

「Booked this terrific log cabin for its closeness to Slate Valley Trails for our annual Memorial Day Weekend mountain bike getaway. Terrific location, quiet spot on a gravel road with woods and farmlands. Great kitchen, lots of space to spread out. Very comfortable! So quiet at night, all we heard were a pair of barred owls calling to each other. Highly recommend!」

「Dan is a great host, very accommodating. The cottage was very clean. It was perfect for our fishing trip. Plenty of room on the dock for 2 bass boats, power within 100 feet of dock. Between the 4 of us we landed over 120 fish during our 3 night stay. All catch and release. We would definitely stay here again!」

「The house is excellent! great layout for groups that do not need to be together all the time. The main house has an open layout so your group can gather, but many separate areas to find quiet time. The outdoor furniture in particular stood out to our group. It is all the same, and very high-end.」

Everything from being able to dock the boat, sitting on the Adirondack chairs, enjoying the evening air and fishing, to the great location in the house was perfect. 「The place is very nice and the view is just amazing. Plenty of space for a bunch of family and/or friends to enjoy. Only downside is the sewer plant being so close to the property. The smell is bit much when the wind is blowing from the pant towards the house. It’s not constant so it’s bearable and the beauty of the house makes up for it. Definitely would go back again.」

「Cabin was clean and cozy and in a quiet location. Make sure you build the fire as far back in the fireplace as possible or you will be smoked out.The kitchen needs a frying pan or two. Overall we were very comfortable.」

「Property and photos as advertised. Owner kept in contact to ensure all was ok. Cabin/house clean, air conditioned. Proximity to marina named Hulett Landing was good. Marina had basic essentials. Would recommend this cabin and stay there again.」
