Lower Chateaugay Lake

The remote access was easy to manage, and the view from the balcony was spectacular. It is a short walk from the Queens Plaza subway station, and there were also several restaurants within a block or two. The room was clean and well maintained, and came with a microwave and fridge. I was very happy with my stay. My only minor gripes are that there was no coffee maker despite it being listed as an amenity, and not even a paper cup to heat water in the microwave, and also that the shower glass oddly only covered half the enclosure so it was hard to shower without getting the whole bathroom wet. Also- I note that there is an extra $35 fee for stays less than a week than you only learn about after completing expedia reservation. But even with the fee, the price was still good for the location and view and I would definitely return to this hotel next time I am in NYC.

Great location and breakfast buffet!

Very interesting place. Unassuming on 39th Street but reasonably priced and quite a large room. Very charming with a lot of character and history. The bar was great.
