"Get a tent with a bathroom. Well equipped tents and fun grounds with lots to do. Gets cold at night"

"room was decent if it had just been for myself for a couple nights while out all day long, but having brought my wife with me and leaving her there part of the day wasn't so great. While we had a refrigerator, it was noisy (with a fan or condenser) that kept coming on and off, especially during the night. We unplugged it on day two after informing a housekeeper on day one. overhead light in the room was flickering constantly, so discontinued using it at nighttime. While I like birds, the nesting Swallows everywhere left poop everywhere especially around the nesting areas. During our three days there, the poop just kept piling up on railings, walkways, etc. Swimming pool was okay, but only had three working lounge chairs, and three broken ones. Shower pressure was like a firehose, with no way to reduce the pressure. I like water pressure, but this was beyond that level. Desk staff was not friendly or outgoing. We actually talked about losing a nights deposit and moving to the Skylark Motel a few doors down, but didn't because my wife would have nowhere to stay betwe checkout/check-in times and we'd have to move everything."

Best Western El Grande Inn

"The check in staff member was nice and friendly, but after she left the rest of employees were short and loud due to being disturbed from their computer screen. This was my first time visiting this Best Western in Clear Lake. As a member I've never been denied a continental breakfast. The food was being prepared for a church group only and had a closed sign outside the door. Luckily I found breakfast a cross the street at Grandpa's Cafe. It's a shame to give this Best Western a lacking review because it's beautiful and has great potential."

"We Love the ambiance we stayed lower level with 2 beds overlooking lake view peaceful environment We came after Memorial Day so if you like quietness great place to do it There’s a bbq grill outside our room and nice chairs to relax there’s a door to go to the patio and deck outside so you can walk around the back property just make sure you pay attention where you’re walking coz there’s a lot of bird and duck droppings great place to do bird watch if you like nature We stayed in the room where there’s full kitchen so it made it convenient to cook breakfast and load our groceries on the big fridge Over all we had a nice stay we plan to visit again in the future and maybe we will bring our fishing rods when we have more time to go fishing ."

"I like the rooms! Bed was very comfortable. I didn’t like the bugs and that there was not really an area for our party to gather around in celebration of a milestone birthday. The fishing was not great in comparison to the other locations we have stayed at however I do like the amenities this resort provides for children."
