"We loved our stay at The Walter au Lac Hotel. The location is very convenient to all the beautiful spaces in Lugano. Lots of restaurants, shops and parks. We enjoyed our time in Lugano. TIP: If arriving by train, the funicular entrance is in the train station and it is an easy walk in town to the hotel once you take it to the bottom."

"Excellent pool area beautiful view and a great walk into town - not that far but a steep hike walking back which we enjoyed - you could opt for the bus which is free if you stay more than 2 nights but we didn’t need it and walked in and out of town twice per day. It was a lovely room, view, pool, breakfast with great parking - very lovely and we would stay again!"
