The view from Villa Sassa is stunning, and the property itself has great potential, but my stay was unfortunately disappointing. My pre-booked shuttle arrived nearly an hour late with no update or communication from staff. I completely understand that road closures can cause delays, but a simple message would have allowed me to make other arrangements and avoid unnecessary stress in a new city.
When I arrived, my early check-in request wasn’t accommodated, which I can accept, but the way it was handled was very dismissive. When I tried to express my concerns to the front desk, the staff member simply said “thank you, have a good day” and hung up. I later provided written feedback to management but received no further response, which felt unprofessional and dismissive.
It also took over 40 minutes for my luggage to be delivered to my room, adding to an already frustrating experience. As a VIP guest, I expected better communication, service, and attention to detail.
While the hotel itself is peaceful and offers incredible views, it’s not as convenient as it seems. The property is uphill, and there aren’t any nearby restaurants or shops you’ll need to take a bus, taxi, or Uber to reach the main area.
Overall, the setting is lovely, but the lack of communication, poor responsiveness, and dismissive service left a very negative impression. With better training and guest care, Villa Sassa could truly live up to its potential.
