What a lovely hotel. Modern, clean, great location and the staff are exceptional. From the moment you arrive to the point you leave they are friendly, helpful and always wanting to make your stay welcoming. Lots of advice around exploring the area and happy to help with any questions. Top marks for secure parking and ample EV chargers. A restful and hassle free stay. Just 10minutes walk into the old town and an excellent bakery and coffee shop just 5mins away towards town if you just want a light breakfast. Highly recommended.

I liked the hotel and its bar/restaurant. The room was really beautiful and very clean. Staff was helpfull. I give 5 stars when there are more facilities like a gym. But for the rest extremely nice and will make an extfa recommendation for the kitchen.

Wow! The staff at this hotel exceeded all my expectations! I have traveled quite a lot in my 63 years both professionally and personally) but I can’t remember when I have been so well treated and helped! My wife and I were walking the Camino in Spain and why wife was struggling with shin splints. We decided we should take a day off from hiking to help her recover. Because of the language issues (I don’t speak Spanish) Emidio at the front desk helped me make all the necessary changes to our itinerary to allow us to stay an extra day. Whenever I came to him with an issue (unrelated to his hotel) he would simply say - “no problem” and help me until my issues was solved! Alejandro and Manuel at the bar were extremely friendly and accommodating as well. In fact, while at the hotel, I interacted with at least 6 hotel staff and they we all great! I don’t if this is unique to this just Mercure but I will definitely be more predisposed to look for Mercure option for future travels because of this experience!

THE HOTEL IS TOO MODERN, NO CLOSETS, NO SHELVES, FOR A 3 DAY STAY THE ROOM WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE NO PLACE FOR A SUITCASE, BREAKFAST WAS NOT UP TO SPAIN STANDARD, FOR THE PRICE THERE ARE BETTER HOTELS IN LUGO, 14 EUROS PARKING PER NIGHT.
