Come visit Luray Caverns, then enjoy the restaurants, stores and ambiance of downtown Luray. Stroll along the Hawksbill Greenway in downtown and then come back to the Cottage for a restful evening.
Or spend the day in the beautiful Shenandoah National Park, exploring trails and soaking up the natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley.

Peaceful Cottage in the Country

The cottage was a little further from town than we anticipated, but we spent most of our time in the park and the caverns; so, it suited us well. The property manager, Ruth, checked on us each day to make sure we had everything we needed. The only little glitch was with the clothes washer when trying to wash with cold water. It turned out the hot and cold selections on the washer were reversed, and we found a work around so everything ended well. The area was very quiet and pleasant to enjoy in the evenings, and we both slept soundly at night.

Tranquil little spot

After a week of road-tripping, this was a lovely final stay before gunning it back up north on I-81. Tidy and cute, with splendid backyard views of the valley and mountains.
