“the cottage was lovely the only nuisance was next door had 5 dogs which were noisy l did not mind much because l like dogs but for someone who wants a quiet getaway will not get it but the cottage was great.”

“The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. Everything needed was right out the front door - museums, castle, pubs, and cafes. The actual house was well laid out with decent furnishings and clean towels, and linens. However, it was dirty in areas, like the crockery all had to be washed before use, blinds were dirty and dusty, and there was a lot of dust, dirt and dog hair around. Not……

“4 night stay April 2026 (Sunday to Thursday) - accommodation very clean, comfortable and modern, hosts very welcoming - location peaceful (a few sheep and horses over the fence at the bottom of the garden, but no noise) and nice dark skies (I saw a few Lyrid meteors during my stay!). Great kitchen facilities (so you can easily self-cater if you want) and excellent shower, better accommodation than a hotel if visiting the area IMHO. Well located, Hastings, Rye & Great Dixter all a quick drive……

“We loved our stay. The location is fantastic and for us with children being opposite the playground as well as such a short walk into town was great. Rye is just a lovely place and with Camber Sands and other lovely places to explore nearby you can’t go wrong with the location. The main living space is really well equipped with loads of kitchen stuff, sharp knives, comfy sofas and a great selection of books and games. The beds are comfortable and shower is a good pressure. “Stone’s Throw was so close to the beach but also the Royal Military Canal and the High Street, so a perfect location. An amazing property, so small but with everything we could possibly need for a few days away. Beautifully designed with a stylish vibe. A tardis sprang to mind as we opened the door! Spotlessly clean and bright and welcoming. Everything had been thought about carefully, even storage, under the bed. Such a comfortable bed too. We were fully informed about everything and lots of……
