Love was wonderful at front desk. The room however had no working TV or clock. David came up to the room and tried to no avail. Was very disappointing. I slept well but didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities promised. Not Ok with that.

Office staff barely said five words to me during the entire check-in process. Even though there was barely anyone else staying at the hotel, our room was in the farthest building on the second floor. Our non-smoking room smelled like stale smoke and the TV had no cable.

horrible experience!
Horrible experience, I asked for a non-smoking room but the room had a horrible cigarette smell, they even tried to put me in another room, but they all had the same cigarette smell! There were still a lot of broken things like the bathroom sink that didn't come out with hot water, the drawer, some dirty things, in short, bad experience, I will never stay at this hotel again!

I had reserved two rooms. One was good- clean and ready for our arrival. The other smelled horribly of smoke. We tried 4 other rooms before finding one that had an acceptable amount of smoke smell. After moving our items in, the A/C did not work. We finally found a room that did not have a smell and had A/C in working order about 90 minutes after original check-in. If it is on a busy weekend in Lynchburg, be warned that you may have issues.

Starting with the positive: the sheets are great. The breakfast was substantial. The staff was nice. The negative: This poor property is literally falling apart. Our sink faucet was broken. The door frame to the bathroom was cracked, which made the latch loose and rattly. The TV stand was in pieces across the back ledge. The TV itself was a mess. The microwave didn’t work. The alarm clock was plugged into an outlet that turned on and off when you flipped a light switch (and, of course, had no backup battery in it). It reeked of smoke from old carpet. There weren’t enough outlets for all the appliances, lights, TV. And the cords and outlets were fully exposed, so if you have toddlers or babies, you’d have to rearrange some furniture to keep them safe.

Honestly the only thing positive about this location was the staff. The gentleman behind the counter was excellent The bathroom was absolutely filthy and the remainder of the room was just okay. The property is located in a very sketchy area and is extremely noisy. Do yourself a favor and give this place a wide berth

The ONLY thing that I liked was how easy it was to get to Liberty University. Our room smelled like smoke.YUCK! The breakfast(ha ha) was out of waffle mix, coffee,juice and fruit. What a joke! Wi Fi didn't work. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, but overall the property is in need of renovation. Although the room was clean, the curtains were off track, one chair was broken, the other chair was coming apart, our phone did not work, and there was no hair dryer. The area is extremely noisy, and the rooms are outside rooms at a motel in a high traffic area. The pictures of this property do not accurately represent it.

Outdated and mold on the ceilings. Not at all what I saw in the pictures. And the room smelled like a nursing home bathroom upon arrival.

Think motel not hotel
This was a disappointment to us. Our first room given to us was nasty. We requested a different room, and it was better, but still not great. Both rooms had strange smells. Like a public bathroom, but the first had the added bonus of smoke. The ice machine in our building didn't work. The "full breakfast" that the website mentioned is more like a deluxe continental. We realized that we needed to adjust our expectations. So go into it thinking Motel 6 or Super 8 and you'll be fine.

The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure, but there were tears in the curtains and wall paper, holes in the bathroom door, toilet seat had worn spots, dirty spots on the chair and wall, and messed up ceiling tiles. The breakfast hours start later on the weekends, so we never got to try it since we had to leave each morning by 7am. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case, I think I may have overpaid.

It was ideal in proximity to the locations we needed to get to. Cobwebs on ceiling. Phone on floor and could not be moved. Several furniture items were askew. Generally this room needed work.
