The staff was on the phone and inattentive while checking us in. Zero hospitality. The room was so basic. You could see the metal bedframe. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. We called and asked for a new room and they were matter of fact and said we don’t have another room. And offered for us to check out for a refund. 4 days later the “refund manager” still hasn’t called us

I really like staying at this hotel, especially being provided with a stove is great! However, I hated the fact one of the guest had a Pitbull dog. Every time I was getting on or off the elevator, the guest would allow her dog to come up close to me. The guest was older in age, so the dog was pulling her! I told the guest she should control her dog since some people are afraid of dogs. However, every time I see this guest with her dog, I was terrified! Pitbull dogs are no joke and I don’t play around with them nor any dog. Once I asked her to get her dog, the only thing she would say, he doesn’t bite😳 unbelievable! Additionally, once the A.M. arrived, all I can hear was slamming of doors coming from the other guests! There was a lot of construction workers on my floor, and for the four days of my stay, I continuously heard the workers or other guests slam their room doors to exit! Hopefully, no one has to experience these ordeals on their stay.

Staff asked me to scan my card. Then they “had an issue” and asked me to scan it again. I said “I hope you aren’t going to double charge me”. Noticed there were two charges and figured one was a deposit. Bope, they double charged me. Called them on a Tuesday and the assistant manager could see the double charge but couldn’t remove. Said the manager would be there in two hours. Asked for an email, call or text when they refund me. Three days later still no response. I called the hotel two days later bc no response and couldn’t get anyone to answer. Called 17 times that day.

The hotel was dirty. We checked in and went to our room. It was a non-smoking room however the hall smelled like smoke. Once in the room there was an overwhelming smell of urine. We checked out 10 minutes later and the hotel refuses to refund our stay, and the manager is never available to speak. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to lose money and want a hassle.

The front desk staff was terrible upon arrival for checkin at a little after 3pm. We were charged $40 more than the Expedia rate, even after providing confirmed email as proof of rate. Was assigned a dirty, unclean bed and room. After returning to the front desk, and being ignored by front desk staff for 15 minutes, we were told we would have to wait for this room, not offered another room, to be cleaned, its now after 4pm, and after a 7 hour drive. Again, we were not offered another room and was refused a refund. Horrific experience. I would rate a no star but a no star is not an option. After a 7 hour drive, we were forced to seek lodging somewhere else. Terrible experience. No one should book lodging at this location unless there is a change of staff and leadership.

The rate was $130/nite which explains why there were no hand towels, hair conditioner or box of facial tissues. The rooms were equipped with a kitchenette but there were no cooking pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups or flatware. One could buy a complete set of cookwear & diningware for 4 for $20 each from the reception desk. As budget minded as Woodsprings is, I’m surprised that no ice machine existed anywhere in the hotel. However, the room was clean & bug free. My family (husband, adult son & I) experienced a strange incident that we’ve never experienced in all our 37yrs of staying at hotels as a couple. Barely 5min after walking in our room @ 9:54pm (11pm is quiet time), the front desk called my cell fone to inform us that she received a noise complaint from the room directly below us, of pounding on the hardwood floor. None of us weigh more than 180lbs. I explained that we were not pounding on the floors & we barely walked around. She threatened to "put us out" if they received another complaint. I asked to be moved to a different room to mitigate whatever issues the guests below us were experiencing but the hotel was fully booked. After my phone conversation ended, I went downstairs to reiterate we were not pounding on the hardwood floors & none of us are heavy enough to have heavy footsteps. The woman at the front desk began to lessen her stance by explaining that technically, we can play loud music until 11. She should've explained that to the guests below. Guests beware

Super courteous staff and clean room. Zero amenities not enough towels for 3 people. No towels avaliable upon request unless a towel exchanged. 4 tiny flat pillows on 2 queen beds. Extended stay had nothing in the room no plates flatware nothing. No ice anywhere. Nothing. Not a glass or spoon. I've never stayed in an extended stay that was completely devoid of anything. No paper towels no tissues nothing. Every drawer was empty. It had a nice fridge amd a microwave oven. 2 burners on a smooth stove but not 1 pot or pan or utensil of any kind. I've traveled in my career for 40 years and never stayed anywhere like this. There was a bar of soap.

Staff was not friendly and the room was not clean. The floor was filthy. Rooms were not ready at 3pm and we were told to come back. Then they gave us a room and when we went up it hadn’t been cleaned yet. The maid said it would take her 10 minutes and I told her to take her time but clearly she cleaned it in ten minutes. Two people for two nights and we were given 2 bath towels. The hall carpet need to be vacuumed.

Room was clean. However, our reservation was for 2 queen beds and we got double beds instead. Room was just a basic room. No hand towels. We had bath towels though. Staff were good. When I attempted to call hotel prior to stay, they never answered the phone and I called at least 20 times to ask question about our dog. I believe they should be more responsive.
