A perfect break

We hired Dashel Cottage with two friends who are retired like us. It was utterly peaceful and we loved exploring Exmoor each day then returning in the evenings to dine in comfort in the cosy cottage. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect for our party and the cottage is so well fitted out and comfortable.

Extremely clean and comfortable, it really was a home away from home and the showers were amazing! Very well insulated and warm and the log burner was a lovely addition. Cottage. Location absolutely superb.booking via verbo no problem. However dealings with Best of exmoor cottages need a lot to be desired. Hence went via verbo. As a high level uk travel professional myself i found best of exmoor cottages off-putting and certainly not a company i would consider using in the future. But the Cottage itself is excellent

Thank you for letting us stay at Dashel Cottage. It is in a great location with many footpaths and walking routes on your doorstep which we were lucky enough to enjoy along with the dogs. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for our group of 6 people. A really lovely place to relax at the end of the day after long walks and exploring beautiful Exmoor.
