I loved this hotel. It's located in a Unesco historic district with lovely shops and cafes. It is a historic building that has been updated with high quality materials and design selections. The room is small but classy and includes AC. The staff was excellent.

We chose this hotel because of its location in Old Town Lyon. The location was exactly what we hoped! Walk to almost everything. Restaurants and shopping within easy walk. Our room was at the front of the Hotel but we never heard outside noise. Large room - #103 - and I would ask for the room again.

The hotel’s unique decor and how it’s built was beyond beautiful! They had cold water waiting for us in the room and we were also able to refill as needed. Everyone in my family absolutely loved their stay. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Beautiful property. Incredible location with perfect access to all of Old Lyon. I will stay here again, just wish there was a fridge in the room but other than that, it is a neat perfect hotel for our family of 4.

Great location in vieux Lyon. building with character; spiral stair, old building. charming and unique. best for solo traveler and or short stay., at least in the standard room we had. no storage for clothing and minimal free walking space. toilet space was separate from shower area which was convenient. not a modern building so Travellers should be aware that they might have to use stairs to access room...even tho there is an elevator.

The Académie Hôtel Lyon was a excellent stay. Good central location. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was delicious and eating out front in the morning was a beautiful setting. Would visit again when in the area.

This hotel was built in the 1400s and is of historical significance. It is a beautiful place to stay. The staff is very friendly and all of the room amenities were excellent. We had a suite with two full bathrooms and two bedrooms it was facing the inner courtyard so the room was very quiet. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Great location. Quiet but near old town Lyon with great cafes, shopping and bakeries. Near the metro and easy to get to local attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Charming, adequate, and clean. If you want breakfast order it the evening before. Loved our visit and highly recommend our hotel.

Very unique hotel in heart of old Lyon. Room 101 was very spacious for us and 2 kids with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Kids nicknamed their bathroom the “cave”. Many restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel for Lyon star.
