The hotel is clean, spacious and ideally located nearby to the bikini beach, shops and restaurants on Maafushi. The rooms are great, very well air-conditioned and the cleaning service is brilliant. All in this place was valuable for us. We stayed for a few days and the staff was very helpful and polite with everything we needed. They helped with explanations about the trips and it was really important for us rookie out decisions about what to do in 4 days. Thanks to all staff for everything. We would recommend this hotel to other families and will definitely stay again when we return to Maafushi.

值得來住

地點方便,離碼頭近,抵達碼頭還貼心到碼頭接待,近海灘,買東西吃東西都方便,服務人員麥克非常熱情,房間大,下次還值得來住!!飯店本身有許多海上活動可以付費報名參加,可自由選擇!!

住宿環境很好，但是飯店預訂控管不佳

飯店的前台人員服務非常好，很親切有事情也都會盡力幫忙與解說，房間乾淨，早餐也還算不錯無法給高分的原因是因為飯店經理對於飯店訂房控管不完善，他們讓飯店預訂房數超過他們擁有的房間數，所以在我們剛抵達的前兩晚(熱門的週六及週日)被移動到別的飯店(我們訂的是價位較高的景觀房，但他把我們挪動到沒有景觀的飯店，而且四個人住三個人的家庭房)，雖然有給予我們補償，但其間溝通了四個多小時，浪費了我們的假期時間。

因我行李稍多，需要酒店工作人員有手拉小車載運行李到酒店，也有預先電話通知酒店我船到達Maafushi碼頭的時間，但酒店工作人員還是沒有在碼頭出現，我有點生氣，同船有些馬來西亞乘客有入住是Kuredhi beach inn at maafushi ，這間inn有人員來接這些客人，kuredhi beach inn at maafushi的工作人員人很好，幫忙將我的多件行李順路載運到我入住的kaani beach hotel，我非常謝謝Kuredhi beach inn at maafushi的工作人員，我入住的kaani beach hotel是在海邊，我是被安排在最頂樓層房間入住，不是海景房型，房間內有點潮濕，廁所有－扇小窗有透氣葉片是不可關上，會有大隻蟑螂跑進廁所內有點可怕，自助早餐也算是品質Ok不錯，也有厨師在現場煎蛋，但餐廳螥蠅非常多，有點不舒服，還有重點是週边餐廳從晚上11點多至凌晨半夜2..3點嘈雜重重的音樂聲噪音，令我快點抓狂，整個晚上我都無法睡眠，..總結是..沒有人員來接船服務，早餐餐廳螥蠅很多，房間有大隻的蟑螂，週边晚上的音樂嘈雜噪音無法睡眠，Cp值低，下次不會再次入住這，晚上想要安靜睡眠的人，不建議入住這裡。My have most baggage ，need hotel staff have small car will my baggage was shipped to hotel，have also call phone to hotel my boat arrived at maafushi pier time，but hotel staff not pick me up at pier to hotel，I'm a bit angry，thank very much kuredhi beach inn at maafushi staff help will my baggage was shipped to kaani beach hotel，my stay hotel on the beach，buffet breakfast is ok，my room toilet had big roach，breakfast restaurant had many fly flies，evening 23:00PM ~02AM..03AM aroundis other restaurant music noise，no quite sleep，..service..No..，..breakfast restaurant many fly flies and room big roach..，..evening around music noise..，cp value low，not recommend stay here kaani beach hotel 。

Excellent Hotel with Superb Staffs

Very nice environment in Maafushi. One of the best hotel in Maafushi. Surrounded by great beautiful sea. Also there are living folks here. Unlike island resort, you could enjoy better with this location. The staffs I must said, are one of the best I met throughout my many years of traveling. They're very friendly and helpful. Love this place!

EXCELLENT HOTEL for budget travelers

i had an excellent stay in Kanni. good services and staff impressed us a lot who demonstrate what hospitality is, (here i 'd like to give special thanks to Salinda and Wasantha for their fabulous service) FOOD food is ok in Kanni. for breakfast there're 6-7 dishes in the buffet bar , not a wide range of choose but totally enough and I had happy breakfast every morning. -Tips: local people said there's a restaurant called Mama land , and it's the best restaurant on the Island. it tates good and in a reasonable price say -a pasta/ pizza costs US$10-12. ACTIVITIES the hotel provides their guests of different activities - night fishing(strongly recommend you to join!) snorkeling, diving ,whale shark watching .... ect. the only reason that hotel us not to join the tour launched by outside agent was that in case accidents happens, they can't help us but still we joined the tour launched by ''Plam tree'' <- personal like this agency a lot , tours in reasonable price-a halp day snorkeling tour costs US$31 per head, all taxes, equipment and lunch included and very good services! SOUVENIR Seems the shop next to the pier is the best one as there're the most choices of goods and it's the cheapest one!

Disappointing stay

The images from the hotel are missleading. They were taken maybe 10 years ago, before all the buildings was setup in front of the hotel. A lot of noice in the night because of the bars and resturants below. The reception was not used and we have to go to next door hotel for service and breakfast.

My experience started after I booked my trip to the Maldives, the hotel contact us directly offer help with transfer from the airport, this was greatly appreciated and accepted. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the beach and jetty. The Staff are an asset, the Front of House Manager helped with booking tours and was professional, yet friendly and warm. Our cleaner (Shamim) made our stay special and appreciate the effort he made making our room every day. I would recommend this hotel, it is conveniently located to everything and the staff are the best.

So I don’t normally do in-depth hotel reviews but this deserves it to help save someone. I booked at Kaani on Maafushi before going to the private island. First there are several hotels in this chain next to or close to each other. Note they are not all equal in price or quality. Read the reviews carefully. I booked Kaani Beach when I should have booked Kaani Palm Beach. Their hotel is nicer it seemed and amazing Saturday night beach party. There were only 2 floors in Kaani Beach so the sea view is through the trees and mostly of tin roofs and it’s an old building, no elevator which does not work well for my back. They gave me a triple room when I booked a double. The toilet was leaking and a rooster crowing out my room. The room and building was just horrible. I asked for a change in building and room. After back and forth, calling the manager etc the only room available was the king penthouse suite on the 7th floor in Kaani Grand which still had stairs because the elevator only went to the 6th floor and it would cost me extra $$$ to upgrade. It was nice and the view amazing and it was spacious. I went for my pedicure in their spa which is nice and it was ready when I came back. Note this is a chain with high guest’s occupancy so run like a machine. No extra niceness like the luxury brands in Maldives so lower your expectations. Free breakfast was ok. The worst part is after paying all that extra $$ there were roaches in my suite on both nights.
