Scuba Buddy Mabul
2.0 star property
Mabul Island
6.0 out of 10, (2 reviews)
"I had an awful experience at Scuba Buddy, I would never suggest someone staying there. Starting from the transfer from the airport, then the conditions of the room (no running water to get showers and no AC!), until the island hopping excursion during which we have been stuck in the middle of the sea for 1 hour because we run out of petrol. An absolutely awful experience. The only positive note is the kindness of the staff at the lodge."

7. Hotel Kapalai

Hotel Kapalai

8.4 out of 10, Very good, (7 reviews)
"The hotel room was simply outstanding! Plenty of room, comfortable bed and TONS of lighting options. The restaurant and rooftop bar, however were closed and looked to have been closed for a very long time. There was a restaurant on the ground floor that served a buffet breakfast. If the ground floor restaurant is made permanent or semi-permanent I would recommend drapes to draw diner’s attention inward. The view of the shopping center and dogs was lackluster."
