While the room was clean and pleasant, the bar could do with updating and the food ( fish and chips ) was so overcooked it was difficult to cut and eat , and fresh peas on the menu does not mean mush peas , breakfast was not much better with the full English being like warm at best , need a bit of a overhaul in all respects

This is a lovely hotel with fitness club, golf course, etc.. We didn't use any of these as we were just passing through. Very nice room and surroundings. One thing could be done to improve the experience - clean the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfasting room.
