“We found the home to be spacious and well stocked. We used both the grill and the Blackstone grill. Owner did a nice touch point to make sure we were able to get in with no issues. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it at the homes dock. The lake is massive and deep. My kids caught a lot of catfish right off the dock. I would recommend this home. ”

“My friends and I spent four nights here with our dogs and it was perfect for us. The fenced yard is wonderful to have for the dogs. We spent a lot of time hanging out around the fire pit and on the screened in porch. We took the dogs to the lake every day so they could enjoy a swim. The lake front park is an easy walk away. Would definitely stay again.”

“We had an incredible time during our stay at Lake Gaston thanks to our helpful hostess providing a lovely property to spend our trip at. The backyard had a great firepit, a choice of grills for BBQing, and plenty of seating to spend dinner with family and friends. The boat launch being in the backyard also allowed convenient access to drop in for water activities whenever we wanted. Will definitely have to visit again for our next lake trip. and friends. ”

“For being right at the lake the rate is very affordable. We took the kayaks out and walked into the water to cool off after we got back. There is no boat dock but we weren’t planning on renting a boat for the week anyway. We went out for dinner one night at WatersView Restaurant on the north side of the eating ferry bridge. The fried captain’s platter and spicy margarita was great. We also drove to the Palmer Point Park at the Kerr Reservoir. The beach was great. We stopped at lucky’s grill……
