We are glad to see that our team made you feel at home during your stay.On another note, we are sorry that you didn't like your room and wish you would have told us while you were here, so that we could have done something about it right away. Our hotel is located in a building from 1852, whose top floor has indeed slanted ceilings, as was the architectural fashion in Madrid in the 19th-century. This also affects the entrance, which was the old horse carriage passage and that's why it has the little stone step. The wooden, for instance, staircase is also the original one. It being a historical building means that we must protect and preserve certain parts of it and are unauthorized to make modifications by heritage law. Despite this, we will of course bring your comments to our design department and we apologize for the inconvenience it caused. If we ever get the opportunity to welcome you back in our palace, please, do not hesitate to share your concerns with our Front Desk Team right away.
