We had a wonderful stay! It’s centrally located at a Metro stop. Lots of great shopping nearby. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make it a great stay. Would absolutely stay here again if I found myself in Madrid again!

this hotel was the highly of my Madrid trip, the location is in the heart of Madrid, walking distance to most places, even though is in Grand via, once you are inside the hotel is very quiet, the rooms , and the breakfast was outstanding, my favorite, Aldo the rooftop bar and the pool was the best , we meet nice people from the staff, specially our bartender Daniel from Seville, everything was excellent

Service was exceptional. I traveled with a toddler and at every level, the staff was so welcoming, friendly, kind and accommodating. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Hotel is in a central location- easily accessible and walkable to all the main sites and restaurants.

The staff went above and beyond. There were lots of great things about my stay but I have to say, the staff made me feel incredibly comfortable and did everything they could to help. Just a beautiful stay from beginning to end. The suite genuinely felt like having my own little pied-à-terre in Madrid, and I honestly think whether you’re staying for one night or settling in for a week, do the upgrade. Book the suite. Waking up, opening the curtains and looking straight out onto Gran Vía every morning is worth it. The location is almost ridiculously convenient. You step outside and Madrid is right there, so central and close to pretty much everything you’d want to see, eat, shop, or wander into. The staff was wonderful throughout our stay, always helpful without hovering, and both the restaurant and bar on property were completely to die for. We ended up enjoying them much more than I expected. The plunge pool and gym are definitely on the smaller side, but honestly? With the amount of walking you do in Madrid, I hardly missed my morning cardio. My legs were getting their workout whether I planned for it or not. What really stayed with me, though, was the design. Hotel Montera doesn’t feel “decorated” in that overly polished, everything-came-from-the-same-showroom way. It feels collected. Layered. Almost like you’ve walked into someone’s old Madrid palacete and everything has slowly found its place over the years. A little eccentric here, something beautiful tucked into a corner there. It has soul, which is increasingly rare in hotels. Would absolutely stay again. And yes, I’d book the suite again too.
