Dear Winnie: We are surprised about your cleanliness complaint due to we always try to offer our customers the best cleaning service. However, we will talk to the responsible person and take the necessary measures. Referring to the room, if the guest ask for a room change, whenever possible, we will change it, because our main goal is that all our customers are satisfied and have a pleasant stay with us. The most par of our customers choose our hotel due to is alocated in a quiet area and the metro station "Canal" is just at 5 minutes walking, with direct conection with the center (15 minutes only by metro) Maybe you used another metro stop. Anyway, we regret any inconvenience that we may have caused you during your stay. Regards.

Nearby restaurant and bars and other small shops. A park nearby as well. Canal metro is close enough. Walking back to the hotel at night seemed safe. We were at the fifth floor and one could still hear street noise from the bars nearby and truck traffic in the morning. Apart from that, solid hotel, functional, working air conditioner and clean.

Hotel muy bien ubicado en zona tranquila, a dos pasos de la parada de metro Canal, aunque se puede llegar caminando a todos los sitios de mayor interés de la ciudad. Habitación espaciosa, luminosa con dos ventanas, cama confortable, mucho sitio para colgar ropas. Baño ampio, con ducha y bidet. Limpieza impecable. Personal muy amable y disponible. Recomendado!

This was a great hotel to stay in! Good location. The only negative things are the breakfast isn’t that good and there was one man working at the front desk who was not nice at all. Can’t remember his name. However, everyone else was very nice and overall the hotel is great. We would stay here again!

I did not have a positive experience at this hotel. I found the staff to be extremely rude and cold. Part of the reason I chose this hotel was because of the good reviews and because there was an included breakfast. We were traveling on a budget so this seemed ideal. When I checked in I was told that it wasn’t included, which is fine obviously there was a miscommunication with the booking site. But the way I was told was rude and unapologetic. I wasn’t expecting special treatment, but a simple “I apologize there must’ve been a miscommunication” goes a long way. I was made to feel like an annoyance when I was very friendly to them. I honestly felt that way every time I interacted with the staff, with both the front desk and the woman monitoring the breakfast (after paying for it). I am not usually one to write a negative review, but I just had such a negative experience from the moment I walked in the door to when I left. I felt very unwelcome. Especially being my first trip to Madrid, it was saddening to have it start off with an unwelcoming feeling that lasted my whole stay. Even though it was extremely clean and quiet, given my experience I would never recommend this hotel.

It was a very nice hotel with great service. The only complaint I would have is that I requested a room with a double bed and got two twin beds pushed together instead. The beds kept moving apart when I slept on them and I would have preferred they told me there was no double beds available and I would've been fine with a twin.

Cleaning staff was superb. Friendly, fast and efficient. Now front desk was not up to par. Rude in every way, not helpful in any way. Front desk employees always seemed to be on a smoking break Accounting made a mistake and charged us an increased amount for extra bed but they quickly responded to correct it

Hotel bien situado pero con cosas mejorables
Como ya han reseñado varios clientes, la insonorización del hotel es muy deficiente y se oye cualquier ruido de las habiaciones contiguas. El espacio del desayuno es muy pequeño para acomodar todos los clientes y, si se baja a la hora más concurrida, hay que esperar y el surtido de comida y bebida está agotado y tarda en reponerse. El personal de recepción pidría ser más amable. No así el del desayuno que fueron simpáticos y efcientes. La habitación era cómoda, limpia y en buen estado, aunque un poco pequeña. La situación del hotel es muy buena, en un barrio tranquilo y con multitud de bares, restaurantes y comercios.

Great little hotel in good location.
