Lamentablemente tuvimos una experiencia terrible en este lugar. Había un muy muy mal olor cerca de la cama, por lo que fue muy difícil dormir ahí. Además, pedimos una manta adicional porque hacía frío durante la noche, y nos la entregaron el día siguiente. Realmente no lo recomendaría.

The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. However, one downside was the lack of luggage storage. I had a two-hour wait before my flight, and it would have been very convenient to leave my luggage securely at the hotel during that time. It’s a shame, as having this option would greatly benefit guests waiting to travel to their next destination.

We arrived and our room was not the one we booked, the door was broken and looked nothing like the pictures. They offered to move us to a better room like the one in the picture for 60 more euro. We paid and once again it was terrible, another broken door, the ac and fan didn’t work and while the room did have a view this time, the closet was broken, the door and locks were broken and the walls were paper thin. I’d steer clear from this place, there are better places for the same price.

This lock was supposed to keep our room safe from intrusion

I definitely recommend the rooms that have a view to La Gran Via. Even though you can hear all the noises of a big city, (such as when you stay at a hotel in New York, in the center of the city) in my case the view of the life in Madrid is priceless. There are 3 bathrooms per floor, they were always very clean and well maintained. There are no amenities except for body gel and shampoo. The shower has hot water, I tried to make sure to use the shower at non-peak times. The bed is comfortable enough (again, balancing the good location over a little bit less comfort) but it was good enough for a 4 night stay. The room specifically 401 had a good space and a great view. The street noises did not bother me, because I knew I was going to be in the middle of the city, it is actually in the middle of La Gran Via; but if you are someone who has light sleep, you might want to consider rooms in the back. There are several kitchenettes on every floor, almost one kitchenette outside every room. The staff was very friendly. They don’t change the bed or the towels unless you ask for it. I enjoyed my stay mainly because of the location of this place, and the size of the room, which for Europe is very well appreciated. I would recommend it if you are not bothered by the city noises and can manage to have a bathroom outside your room.

Chambre en bon état et propre, très bien situé, assez bruyant en fonction de quelle chambre vous est attribuée car il s’agit de plusieurs grands appartements avec chambres privées fermées. Si les femmes de ménages pouvaient éviter de taper la discussion hyper fort des 8h du matin juste devant les chambres , ce serait appréciable 😅
