“Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. Another English couple were staying in Kings Room……

“Un immense merci pour ce séjour inoubliable !Nous avons passé un week-end absolument fantastique au château. Le lieu est tout simplement magnifique : entre les espaces extérieurs parfaitement entretenus, la vue imprenable depuis la terrasse et le charme des lieux, tout était réuni pour vivre un moment magique. C’est presque irréel d’avoir eu la chance de profiter d’un cadre aussi exceptionnel – un vrai rêve éveillé !Un grand merci également aux propriétaires, pour leur gentillesse, leur accueil……

“I invited about 30 guests to stay for a week at the Chateau du Lac Allure. Our stay was flawless despite the wide range of guests and age differences. William was always near by and responsive to our questions or needs. I recommend this place. ”

“Hired the chateau with 30 friends who have not seen each other in a long time. This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at; I honestly never thought I'd stay somewhere as grand. The communication was great and the photos don't do it justice. All the rooms are ensuite and there's a lot of social space for everyone. The hardest bit was getting everyone together in one place! Thank you for a lovely stay :)”

“L’accueil a été très agréable. Je devais partir bien plus tôt que l’heure du petit-déjeuner mais malgré tout on me prévoyait toujours de quoi déjeuner avec le café pour que je ne parte pas le ventre vide! Délicate attention. Le cadre de la bâtisse est très joli et la chambre très confortable. ”
