If you want to enjoy CR with a local feel and experience this is a place for you. The owners were responsive to questions and w/recommendations sheet to go. “My group of six friends had a really great time at Villa Makai, Santa Teresa location! Our plan for this vacation was to be active, eat healthy, have a lot of fun and have time for a relaxation as well. Seven nights was not a very long time for everything but still we were very happy and satisfied at the end of our stay. The villa was perfect for us, beautiful, very clean, very well equipped. “It was great waking up to the beautiful ocean view, seeing the amazing sunsets over the ocean, and listening to the waves crashing on the beach at night. The gated property was clean and felt very safe. It was also very private. The pool and patio were also great places to relax and take in the views. The host was very attentive.The driveway is a bit challenging to navigate, but typical for the location. There are also quite a few steps from the parking area to the home, but well worth it……

Sophie was very attentive, and easily accessible. Each day the house was cleaned while we were out surfing, magically restored to normal (5 teenage boys!). Banana Beach next door is nice to have.
