Apartment with a private terrace and a view of Málaga
Apartment with a private terrace and views of Málaga — Casa Monte Victoria
A self-contained apartment on the top floor of a charming Málaga home, located on the Monte Victoria hill, across from Gibralfaro Castle. Arched windows, original hydraulic tile floors, a private sun-drenched terrace, and views stretching from the city’s rooftops to the mountains. The historic center is a ten-minute walk downhill, but here all you can hear are the birds.
The Space
The apartment is organized around an open-concept living-kitchen, with a fully equipped kitchen—induction cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, and capsule coffee maker—as well as utensils, a cutting board, and a breakfast bar with two stools. The living area, bright thanks to its arched windows, features a sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, and a Smart TV.
The bedroom, with ochre-colored walls and restored furniture, opens onto a small wrought-iron balcony overlooking the wooded hill. Bedding and towels are included, along with thick curtains and absolute tranquility at night.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a glass enclosure, a vanity sink, a backlit mirror, and a toilet in the same room, with white subway-style tile, a burgundy ceiling, and brass fixtures. Hair dryer included.
The private terrace, shielded from view by a trellis covered in plants, features a table and four rattan armchairs. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and a drink at the end of the day.
Amenities
High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning with heating and cooling, Smart TV, full kitchen, hair dryer, linens and towels, toiletries. Elevator to the second floor. Smoke detector. Luggage storage available at the front desk before check-in or after check-out. There is no dishwasher or washing machine in this apartment.
Check-in
Self-check-in via code, available at any time starting at 3:00 PM. There is no 24-hour front desk or room service: this is a self-catering accommodation, not a traditional hotel.
Getting Around
We are located on a hill. Getting here on foot from downtown involves walking up a street with stairs at the end. Most of our guests take a taxi, which is very affordable in Málaga: five to seven minutes to the historic center, about twenty-five minutes from the airport. There’s also a bus stop right in front of the house and free street parking. For grocery shopping, home delivery works perfectly and saves you from having to carry bags uphill. La Malagueta Beach is a twenty-minute walk downhill, or a five-minute taxi ride.
The Surroundings
Monte Victoria is a quiet residential neighborhood next to Gibralfaro Castle, with unobstructed views of the city and the sea. Six minutes away is Victoria Street, with supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. The historic center, the cathedral, the Roman theater, and the Alcazaba are just a short walk downhill.
