“The cabin was clean, and the air conditioning great. It rained but the covered deck made it possible to sit outside and relish in the beautiful views of the river. We saw an eagle fly overhead and land in a tree across the river. Was quite surprised that there wasn't more wildlife. Spiders (brown recluse and others) and wasps were a bit of a nuisance, the deck and outside area could use a good sweeping. Overall...it was just what we needed, a nice place to kick back, relax and enjoy the……

“The hot tub was nice and clean and the property was very quiet... aside from the neighbors dogs barking a lot, but we are all animal lovers and it didn't bother us. There were 12 of us that stayed and plenty of space for us all to be together or go to a room to have some privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for several to be cooking and preparing meals. The tables on the deck were wonderful and the firepit area was simply perfect. There is no bathroom in the basement……

“This cabin was absolutely perfect for my getaway! It’s tucked away in a peaceful wooded area in New Marshfield, giving me that true “middle of nature” feeling while still being close enough to enjoy both Hocking Hills and Athens. The location couldn’t be better — I spent one day hiking at Old Man’s Cave and could easily spend another exploring the shops and restaurants in Athens.The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything I needed. The hot tub is amazing……
