Luxury amenities and great location

I have been going to Mammoth Lakes every Spring for the last 20 years with my family, staying at various condos. This unit rates among the best. Great location, clean with high end appliances. The two balconies add to the experience with great views. Included access to the SnowCreek athletic club was great. Would highly recommend this unit for larger groups that need eight beds.

Mammoth summer vacation

The stay was great and we really appreciated the humidifiers in the bedrooms.The "fifth" bedroom is very small and for our family that likes to cook together the kitchen was small. The maximum is 3 in the kitchen at one time.The property managers sent over extra towels when we called and also sent the repair person to fix the over immediately. We really appreciated it.

Walk to eagle

My family and my friends family take a week trip to mammoth every year. This was our first time at this location, we loved being able take a short walk to the slopes, made a huge difference to the convienience of dealing with kids and skiing. The place had a home like feel and our whole party had a great time. I would recommend it to friends

The property was well equipped with plenty of plates and dishes for our large crew. However, the coffee pot did not work. The oven also did not work. Needless to say, it posed a problem for the brisket we brought from home to cook for Hanukkah. The house was extremely hot and no way to adjust the thermostats. We unfortunately had to call property management more than once because of these issues. Otherwise great home and it fits many people.

Great location and easy check-in. The duplex wasn’t occupied on the other half so that was a bonus (we tend to be a little noisy). Kitchen was a little small but the fridge was huge. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. The dining room wasn’t big enough for 12 people but we made it work.

Great Family Hike Trip

Our family loved staying at this location. When we arrived, the freezer was not working. We called and they sent a tech over really quickly. We were very impressed. The location is amazing with access to the trail. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: would stay again. we arrived during a blizzard and management was flexible enough to refund our 1st night since all the highways closed down. just FYI, in the winter, there's only space for 1 car in the driveway. 2 in the summer after the snow melts. the blizzard took out the internet and heat. the heat barely worked while we were there but was managable with the fireplace. would still stay again, the home is beautiful!

The place didnt look like the pictures. Wish I knew there was no A/C.

The next day we were woken up by the sound if the jackhammer at 7:30 am. There was a construction going on at the unit next door. We couldnt close the windows because it was too hot. The mgnt sent us to another unit and told it would be better than what we had. It was not . We used VRBO all the time, and this time made me re think it. The unit next door to us was under a difference mgnt company, so they couldnt stop the construction. Fortunately, we could find hotel rooms at the Westin. The condo itself was dusty and muggy.

Mammoth Summer Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check in & out process was very simple, and the house is extremely spacious. However, there were many issues with the house and I don't believe the owners care to fix anything because of the constant rental demand. To start, some of the window cranks did not work, and a good amount of the window screens did not fit. We found this out the hard way when multiple wasps made their way into the living room. In the summer it gets hot, so with no cross breeze (forced to keep windows closed) or lack of central AC we were not comfortable at all times. The kitchen sink faucet was broken and it was a battle to dispense cold water. Most of the bathroom faucets had a similar issue with cold water. Additionally, the fridge did not get that cold so we were constantly worried our food/drinks would spoil. It took almost a full day for our drinks to chill. The ice maker in the freezer stopped working after day two and at times the freezer leaked. The dishwasher was disgusting, barely cleaned or dried the dishes (had to hand wash some stuff after), took multiple hours to "complete" and on top of all that it leaked while running. Lastly, the hot tub took a full night to get above 100 degrees and when it finally did only half of the jets worked. The place is nice but it's definitely not perfect, I truly don't know if I'd stay here again. The complex is nice and in a good area, maybe another unit is better kept.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented with 10 people, the place overall was great!! Nice location and very comfortable. The only complaints was it was pretty warm even with windows open. A couple of people complained about sweating the first night when sleeping. The fridge freezer has issues closing, the dish washer racks all slide out as soon as its opened. Its almost as if they the racks will completely slide off the dishwater. The TV also points upward instead of downward when looking at it. It seems that it is missing a screw. The clock above the TV needs a new battery, since it does not work. Overall a nice unit though. The code to get the keys was an issue since it was not working when the correct code was entered. I had to help 2 other customers trying to get them their keys. There was no answer from the phone numbers given after hours.

Beds were comfy. Due to the overwhelming number of visitors this summer to Mammoth, the rental company was not at its best. They were over-worked, so not fair to judge them. There were a few issues with this condo, as the windows wouldn't open and it was hot. The BBQ did not work, and it should have. I think the fix-it crew was probably also overwhelmed. But!! For the beauty and comfort of a condo in Mammoth, this is the one you want....
