Our room was on the ground floor and led straight to the beach which was amazing. The facilities at the hotel were great. Breakfast was pretty standard nothing special. At times the staff would not call back when asked a query and we had to chase things up a few times but the hotel itself is beautiful. Parker was also really friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful

It was perfect. The room was spacious, very clean. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great. Check in and out took less than a minute. My family had a great time during our stay. The only two things I didn’t like is the price of water on the swimming pool. It cost a fortune, and the beach side could be better. But I would definitely stay there again.

This ia a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has everything you could want. Although the hotel was fully booked we hardly saw any other guests. There is music playing constantly by the pool which I felt was unnecessary. I was glad we went for a city view as I wouldnt have wanted to sit on the balcony listening to the party going on everyday. We were there for 10 days and not once did the turn down service happen. However it was amazing and we had a fantastic time.

Our three-day stay at Royal Saray Bahrain was very disappointing and far below five-star standards, especially at around USD 600 per night. Arrival was cold and inattentive, with only one person at reception during peak Eid. We had booked weeks in advance and paid for a full sea-view room, yet were first given a poor-view room. When we called, we were told no alternative was available. Only after going down and insisting did a better room suddenly appear. We had informed the hotel via Expedia chat that we were celebrating our anniversary, but there was not even a verbal acknowledgment. We also asked about spa treatments and received no response. For a hotel opened in 2018, the property feels tired: broken handles, questionable plugs, poor lighting controls, and hot water takes several minutes to arrive. The worst issue was cleanliness. We found dirty towels, then received a replacement towel with holes in it. Bathrobes were child-sized, and proper robes were removed next day. Amenities were generic “hotel essentials” products. Breakfast was mediocre and overcrowded, with guests eating in the lobby and weak selection. The pool policy was unacceptable: paying guests were expected to spend around USD 110 to use daybeds/cabanas, and over USD 1,000 for a closed cabin. At checkout, reception did not answer calls for luggage assistance, and the voicemail was full. The property has potential, but management, service, cleanliness, and standards do not justify the price or brand.

Lovely big rooms, all have large balcony, best room size in area......But nearly all the staff were untrained and spoke not enough English, had to ask multiple times for things. Phones were often not answered. Several times bedding was ripped and once had blood stains! Room cleaning was erratic, often missed in evening, didn't always put extra items we asked for daily and once threw away several of my cosmetics. Only one proper restaurant on site, no atmosphere in hotel. The pool area had constant loud pumping music all the time, even when the poor musician was playing each afternoon. We couldn't get away from it even on the beach. We asked everyone over and over again to turn it down and softer music, finally after 8 days of asking everyone they put something softer on. Who wants a racket when relaxing by the pool? The ironic thing was, they kept saying people were asking for it - most of the time there was no one or very few other people there. Towels around pool were ALL ripped and bleached. Staff around pool not eager to help, and did so without smiles or understanding. Have clearly suffered from covid and not got their staff back up to scratch, but showed no signs of a 5 * hotel. Shame

Amazing except

Amazing except room service. It was annoying delay in phone calls and in providing service. I called housekeeping three time for towels. It took them one hour to deliver. Food delivered after 45 minutes.
