「The motel as well as the whole town of Cedar Key is still recovering from a devastating hurricane less than a year ago so many services are lacking. The motel was clean, the bed was good but the sheets were probably polyester so they felt a little “sweaty”. All in all a nice experience if you do not expect anything fancy」

「The property and the host and the area was wonderful. We very much enjoyed staying there. Incredible time kayaking with dolphins all around us, took a small airplane ride from a local pilot, which was wonderful to see the islands, rented bikes, and bikes all around the neighborhoods, great seafood, live music was great and the place we stayed in was Quaint and cute. The only thing we should have done was checked into whether there was a way to do some light cooking. No stove or a hot plate. But...

「We were only able to get away for one night but really enjoyed the comfortable accommodations at Blue Heron. The location was nice, fairly quiet and we felt completely safe. Had we been staying longer we would have found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a full meal. We hope to be returning for a longer stay soon. 」
