After a long 4hrs trip from London to Manchester arriving at night, all we needed was a nice bath and relaxation but turned out to be opposite😩😨. The car park was not free as stated on there website, our hotel room was not cleaned after the previous guests before us (dirty everywhere and used bed). We were moved to another room with two single beds resulting to myself and partner sleeping apart, in the morning we noticed the the shower was not working and all we got was complimentary breakfast and wine. We went out to the main reasons we came to Manchester only to returned at night, discovered hotel management entered my room removing some of my properties to the reception and the others still in the room. We walked back to the reception for the suitcase back to the room only to discover my phone charger missing and had to go back again for it😡. They spoilt my trip and left me embarrassed considering the facts I had lots of sexual stuffs in my room, the staff had no right entering my room in my absence as it was booked for two nights. I will not recommend this hotel to a Dog 🐕

A bit far from city n funny is the staff gave us a room with 2 beds folding up at the beginning, but rearranged after we told her the case. Overall is clean n tidy, breakfast is gd.

Great overnight stay

Staff were very efficient, but also very pleasant and helpful. Perfect combination. Breakfast was very good - the usual HI buffet, well cooked, but never overcooked. Great choice. Good sty. We would return.

Got room service, they forst gave me the wrong thing and also overcharged me for it and told me I could get refunded at reception, then at reception they said as the people who were workingthe night before had gone home they couldn't do anything. Don’t stay here.

The check in was extremely slow, about 25 minutes total, the guy on reception kept helping other people while serving us which left us stood there for ages at midnight tired not behind helped. The room was dirty, I moved one of the twin beds over to make a double and it was filthy underneath. There were hairs in the bath and drains and the room was very dated.

Our stay at the holiday in was 5*. The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The staff on reception were very helpful and accommodating. Parking was onsite and not expensive. It was only 5 mins walk from the nearest tram stop and 2 miles into Manchester itself. Overall very happy and would stay here again.

Rooms a little shabby and could do with an upgrade. The shower was hot and powerful although the fixed shower head is always a let down. That said..The staff... Superb in all departments, bar, restaurant and reception all get 5 *... Would return.

Overall, area is not very close to the happening spots in the city. The hotel room was decent. However, the room service dining options were very limited and there was an extra charge to get food delivered in the room so we picked it up from the ground floor - kind of defeats the purpose of room service, if you ask me.
