Fantastic room for for the rate on offer, great comfy bed , lovely bathroom and friendly staff. Also good location for transport into city centre and easily accessible from motorways .

Hotel is in a great location for easy travel into the city centre..rooms are in need of updating but the restaurant area is pleasant and staff are really good...on site parking is charged but rates are good.

Nice stay

Nice hotel with really nice bar. The rooms were nice but very hot radiators stayed on even when turned off. Sunday breakfast didn’t start until 8am and we had to out early, the staff where really good and sorted us some packs of continental breakfast. The soap bottle in the shower was empty but otherwise the room was comfortable, a bit small if you are staying for a few days

The wall papers in the room were half stuck, the grit under the sink was coming off, black mould was under the toilet lining, the paint was outdated. The next door room was noisy to an extend that it felt taht they were in the same room as us. Very basic and poor facility. Definitely not value for money although the staff were professional and friendly and were swift to take care of the noisy neighbour outrage

Needlessly Disappointing

An "executive" room is not defined by a couple of bags of crisps and a bottle of water. Room 33, paint peeling around windows and signs of damp on bathroom wall. Only tepid water available in the morning due to "Boiler Issues", and the noise from "mechanical services" in this room throughout the night beggars belief. Was woken up 5 times by the cacophony of rushing water, valves, banging of plant and goodness knows what else, really really loud, at one point I thought someone was trying to break into the room. Generally lovely people, particularly Eva at reception, but this is a root and branch management issue, I suggested on departure that the general manager should spend a night in the room to experience how bad the noise is. I doubt that they will take me up.

Great staff so helpful very kind. Place was clean and comfortable. Decor in room dated and tired. Great location for hospital. A lick of paint and new carpet and it would be fantastic. Big Thankyou to the staff.

Excellent value for money

Budget hotel which is perfectly fine - yes it could do with some updating but I think the price reflects this. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice little extras available at reception and the breakfast was lovely.

Excellent hotel for Manchester Airport Flights

Lovely big room for the 3 of us. Parking at the hotel was £7 but we parked at the side for free. We just used the hotel for an overnight stay before flying the next morning. Would definitely use again for this as ideally located about 15 mins drive from airport parking and cheaper than airport hotels. However, it should be noted there are no lifts in the hotel and kits of stairs, even just to get to reception. This was not a problem for us as we'd used the twilight check-in at the airport so only had our small cabin cases - would have been difficult with a large case.

The staff were very pleasant, lovely clean linens and bathroom but couldn’t get the toilet flush fixed, I had to fill the waste basket with water and flush that way, I was there 4 nights! Things about room not pleasant, thick dust/dirt behind radiator, and the blind in bad shape, had a general feel of neglect. Too many stairs, no lift, and I’m 87! However the staff were helpful and kind. I enjoyed the gallery of famous Mancunians in the bar area!
