完美!毫无瑕疵
首先说好的:地理位置满分,距离中国城,市政厅,车站火车站,曼大,市中心,都很近;其次酒店装修很好,设施较新;前台和清洁人员服务态度非常好;我朋友丢了钱包,两天以后返回曼城拿一分未丢;唯一不好的地方就是酒店WIFI访问不了微信等中国网站哈哈哈这个都无关紧要了

The architectural aspects of the hotel is grand! Something to admire. The staff, everyone was soooo lovely, welcoming, pleasant and kind. Chris was made to be in the position of his role, he is just such a lovely, lovely receptionist and helpful (we could do with him working in the NHS). The bedroom was really a home from home, it was soooo lovely, clean, pleasant and tidy. The breakfast; OMG, there was a wide selection of continental and traditional British cooked breakfast…delicious! We spent 2 nights one break with my parents for my mum’s birthday and this enhanced and exceeded our expectations. All your local amenities and bus routes are in very close proximity to the hotel. Big thank you all 😊

My advice is to shop around for a better hotel. As soon as I arrived, instead of a warm welcome I asked to pay a tourist tax. A tax I’ve never had to pay before in a UK hotel before. Surely Expedia or the hotel should have made the guest aware before booking. This was not a big issue; not annoying nevertheless. The room itself was not great, there was no sunlight from the close proximity to the building opposite making the room very dark. The bathroom was ok, but the toilet was not functional. The TV remote needed new batteries so I was unable to watch TV in bed. Annoying issues so far. The biggest issues was the noise. I barely slept during my stay. Either from people in different rooms or from people outside, screaming and shouting, bins being emptied and of course car alarms going off. I’ve learned an available lesson; not to leave it last minute to book a hotel. When you do; the Townhouse hotel is the result.

The Hotel is lovely and was quiet during our 3 night stay, Sunday to Wednesday. Had a couple of small issues that were dealt with and we were offered a different suite. The staff were fantastic and are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was lovely with a nice choice. We will definitely be returning.

2 night stay.
We have stayed before and were happy to return. My husband was disappointed it was no longer a menu for breakfast but a buffet. He said his was cold, I didnt have any issues. Our key cards kept de-activating so had several trips to reception to resolve this each time. We also had a plumbing issue in our bathroom just as we were going out on our second eve. This couldn't be resolved so we had to use the bathroom in the next room. Not ideal when you need the loo at 5am. No apology the next morning which was a little disappointing.

Most modern hotels operate with keycards to get you inside after dark and the trust that you will use the facilities as any reasonable person might. But at Townhouse they like to question you about your guests, like you are a teenager, rather than say, in your 50s. And thus Townhouse staff decided it was ok to police my life - I can't agree with that. I cannot recommend this establishment.

The place is very good located at the heart of the city. Just 10 minute walk to Oxford-Road train station and 15 minute walk or less to Picadilly Station. There are lots of restaurants and take aways close to the place. City Center is just 5 to 10 minute walk. The hotel is pretty good and personnel very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is average, I think it should be imporved. Overall stay was grat ! Thanks !

Theatre trip with friends
Hotel in great location for theatre trip and easily walkable from Piccadilly train station. Checked in early and left our bags as rooms not ready but we didn’t expect them to be. Staff lovely and helpful throughout the stay. Rooms comfortable and clean although l little warm overnight (personally). Air con a little loud so wouldn’t have slept through. Breakfast was very pleasant and hot. Young lady in restaurant was friendly and very helpful. Only thumbs down in my opinion was the coffee ☕️. Could do with better coffee!! Checkout was as simple as check in and the team at the hotel were as pleasant as our stay.

Good location and comfortable beds
Nice hotel, very central, so no parking available, so best to consider how much the cost will be if you have a car with you. Bedroom very comfortable, well insulated acoustics from street and neighbouring rooms. But hotel a few years old, so it's fraying around the edges ; shower thermostats not working very well, etc .. but overall a friendly and very well located hotel

A great property. Very welcoming staff, less than 10 minutes from Piccadilly gardens for a nice meal or shopping. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The breakfast is delicious, buffet style with many options.

Receptionist staff rude and didn’t respond when we said hello, floor in the room was dirty and there were stains and dust on the ceiling. Did not sleep very well as the bed wasn’t comfy and felt hard.

Myself and my partner stayed over night at the townhouse Hotel 101 portland Street Manchester M16DF on Monday the 4th November 2023. We checked into the hotel at 4pm and was allocated room number 117, as soon as we entered the room we set the heating system to 24 degrees and the portable radiator to full so when we came back into the room later on that evening the room would be nice and warm. We came back to the room between 10 - 10.30pm and the room temperature was freezing, it felt like a fridge. For some reason the heating system and the radiator had both turned off. We tried to re set the heating and when we retired to bed we had no choice but to sleep in our clothes, we struggled to sleep as we were to cold, it was the most uncomfortable sleep due to the room temperature. Again waking up in the morning and the room temperature was still freezing. It actually was warmer in the corridor than it was in our room. As we went to check out at reception We spoke to the receptionist on duty and placed our complaints and concerns, she apologised to us and she reported the issues to the hotel manager.

Our room was freezing. No heating on the coldest night of the year so far. Even though the room was perfectly comfortable our stay was ruined by the freezing temperatures. Reported to staff the following morning but they didn't seem bothered.
