The B & B offers all the desirable comfort from a lake-front property. You can choose to visit the lake or the peaks, let fascinate by the roar of engines Moto Guzzi and spend wonderful evenings in the garden with barbeque.
Our B & B is located in Mandello del Lario, overlooking Lake Como. Choose to relax in the garden with olive trees, dine by candlelight preparing tasty barbecues at the barbeque and let yourself be carried by the breeze of the lake and in the relaxation of a residence surrounded by greenery. The B & B del Lario is an excellent starting point to reach the heights of the mountains overlooking Mandello del Lario. Our B & B is just 12km from Varenna; From here you can take the ferry to visit Bellagio and the other picturesque towns on the shores of Lake Como. Among the many events, Mandello del Lario annually hosts the "Moto Guzzi Open House", a weekend dedicated to the engines of the motorcycle brand founded their own celebration in Mandello del Lario in 1921.

Mario a été hôte fantastique, il n'a pas hésitez à donner de son temps pour nous conseiller et nous aider à organiser notre itinéraire. Excellent, peaceful location

The accomodation is a short walk from the quaint lake side town. The town is easily connected via train station to any area in Lake Como. The properties lake and mountain views are gorgeous sipping your favorite beverage on the veranda. Breakfast was a variety of local pastries, yoghurt, juices, coffee/tea… Marco is a fabulous host! I would definitely stay here again :)

Absolutely top quality bed and breakfast overlooking the lake.

We stayed at Marco's place once before 2 years ago, the fact we are back tells a story. We will more than likely return again one day. The accommodation is immaculately presented. Everything matched the online descriptions. Views overlooking the lake whilst consuming breakfast take some beating. A 10 minute walk into the old town is a pleasure and not too challenging. Garaging for our motorcycle was appreciated.

Sehr schön auch für Reisende mit Hund

Wir hatten die Unterkunft ausgesucht, weil die Fotos so ansprechend waren, wegen des Gartens und wegen der ruhigen Lage. Alles war wie im Inserat angegeben. Sehr großes, modernes Bad. Dass es nicht direkt am Zimmer ist, war für uns kein Problem. Die wenigen Schritte über den Flur sind machbar. Die Küche und der Wohn-/Eßbereich sind gut ausgestattet. Dort ist auch ein großer Balkon, auf dem man sitzen kann, falls man das Zimmer ohne Balkon gemietet hat. Balkon und Garten bieten einen schönen Blick auf den See. (Es gibt ein weiteres Gästezimmer mit eigenem Bad und Balkon auf der gleichen Etage.) Unsere junge Hündin hat sich sehr über den großen, komplett eingezäunten Garten gefreut, in dem sich sich frei bewegen konnte. Eine gute Grillmöglichkeit mit Sitzplatz ist im Garten vorhanden; wir haben sie aber nicht genutzt. Marco und seine Eltern sind sehr nett und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Netter Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt am Comer See. Highlights der Unterkunft waren die Klimaanlage (die wir gebraucht haben), der große Garten mit Grillmöglichkeit und die gut ausgestattete Küche. Der Kontakt zu Marco und seinen Eltern war auch sehr nett. Etwas ungünstig war, dass das Bad nicht direkt am Schlafzimmer war, sodass man über den Flur an dem anderen Zimmer vorbei musste. Der Balkon war auch nicht am Zimmer, sondern an der Küche. Frühstück war in Ordnung, und hat allerdings etwas herzhaftes gefehlt. Da unser Hund sehr gehaart hat mussten wir jeden Tag saugen. Alles in allem aber empfehlenswert.

Summer week away

My partner and I had a wonderful time at B&B del Lario. Marco greeted us on arrival and had sent us an extensive list with photos of things to do in the area allowing us to really make the most of our stay. The property was extremely clean and true to the online listing with a stunning view over the lake. Mandello del Lario is a beautiful town with some great places to eat (Al Ghezz and Galli and Gufi our faves!) and it was easy to access other places to visit with our hire car. I highly recommend staying here, it's the perfect base to explore Lake Como.
