Les Bleuets is a spacious contemporary home near Bayeux with 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin, located just 12 minutes from beautiful Omaha Beach on the Normandy coast. Set in a verdant rural location with a good sized south-facing garden and terrace, having open country views and a large frontage with ample off-road parking. Within a short drive of Bayeux, the Normandy beaches and military museums.

Note: Parking is outside, off-road, at the side of house. The garage is not part of the rental, but you can store your bikes etc in the closed shed inside the courtyard.

D Day Remembrance Weekend

We could not speak more highly about this property and the welcome that was shown upon arrival !! Very clean property and lovely welcome package. Beautiful setting and gardens. The biggest compliment for our stay is for the homeowners. We arrived early and without hesitation the homeowners allowed us to park on the drive and allow access. Any questions were answered immediately. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and credit to the team !

Des points positifs mais des améliorations à apporter et manque de précisions dans l'annonce

La maison présente de nombreux points positifs, cependant quelques points sont à améliorer. C'est une maison annoncée pour recevoir 8 personnes et ne comporte qu'une salle de bain avec une disponibilité d'eau chaude dépendante du compteur jour/nuit ne faisant fonctionner le chauffe-eau que la nuit. De ce fait, à notre arrivée le soir après un long voyage, la douche à l'eau chaude n'a pas été possible, le ménage de la maison ayant été effectué dans la journée, plus d'eau chaude ! De même, la douche n'est pas possible à 8 personnes en fin de journée, par exemple après une journée de sport/plage. De plus, le garage n'est pas accessible lors de la location (présent sur les photos). Le problème est que les précisions/détails sur la maison ne sont envoyés dans un document explicatif que 5 jours avant le début de la location et une fois le règlement intégral effectué.

Lovely Place

Such a lovely property to stay in with the family for our holiday. The house is in a great location for visiting the Normandy beaches and various other bits and pieces around Normandy. The local village is perfect for anything you may need and only 2 minutes down the road. Plenty outdoor and indoor space at the house to use with everything you would need to cook etc. John was very good at communicating any questions I had and the welcoming instruction booklet lets you know everything you need to know. Would 100% recommend to anyone :)

positief -Mooie ruime woning, alle faciliteiten voorzien. -eigenaar behulpzaam en bereikbaar via vrbo en telefoon. -dichtbij dday plaatsen en stranden - schoon, netjes verbeterpunten - gebouwbeheerder slecht bereikbaar. we hadden probleem dat de voordeur niet op slot kon vanwege defect deur, contact op moeten nemen met eigenaar omdat beheerder niet voldoende hielp. - warm water via een boiler die maar 1x per dag opgewarmd wordt. Een reisgezelschap met een aantal personen kunnen niet allemaal douchen met warm water. als 1 iemand gebruik maakt van het bad, is er nauwelijk warm water over voor 1 douchebeurt.
