“Rooms were clean and spacious. Showers were nice and hot. Hot tub and gym facilities were nice. Staff was super helpful. Swimming pool was cold but clean. Would’ve been great if the pool was heated. ”

“The apartment complex itself is nice, clean, and has easy access, but unfortunately the communication and customer service completely ruined the experience for me. The check-in instructions were extremely long and confusing, and all emails from the property went directly to my spam folder. They also did not communicate through Expedia, which made everything even more difficult. I only recovered the information after contacting Expedia directly. The biggest issue was the €100 deposit……

“Lovely staff rooms and areas clean. Could do with some updating around indoor gym pool areas. No indoor pool available. Gym equipment useable but needs a bit of a spruce up. Hotel shop limited! Need more supplies for self catering. The nearest shops require a car to get to. This is my 3rd visit and i will go back again.”

“Sehr einfaches, aber sauberes und renoviertes Zimmer. Gut funktionierende Badaustattung und großzügige neue Badewanne. Bei den Zimmern zur Straße hört man manchmal abends die Musik aus der Taverne nebenan. Das Personal am Empfang ist außerordentlich freundlich. Man erreicht den Hafen zu Fuß in etwa 20 Minuten über die schöne Promenade am Meer. Der Bus 611 und 631 hält direkt vor dem Hotel und fährt zum Busbahnhof am Hafen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, aber jeden Tag gleich. Brötchen……

“Room was let down by having to pay for safe, kettle and fridge. Why not just put extra on price of the room? Otherwise room was quiet, clean and reasonably priced Breakfast was basic but did the job, and staff on Reception were pleasent”

“Wir waren hier mit unserer Tochter, die fast 2 Jahre alt ist, und waren ehrlich gesagt sehr positiv überrascht. Ursprünglich hatten wir ein normales Zimmer gebucht, konnten aber gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis ein größeres Zimmer mit direktem Poolzugang und eigener Terrasse bekommen – das hat sich absolut gelohnt. Das gesamte Hotel wirkt sehr modern, stilvoll und hochwertig. Man merkt sofort, dass es ein brandneues Hotel ist. Alles ist noch neu, sauber und sehr gepflegt. Der Service war……

“Awful. I would strongly warn people against staying here. I made the booking weeks in advance and upon arrival was told that I’d have to go elsewhere for the first night. I was told there was a problem with the rooms which was a lie. I found out that the hotel overbooked hence had to send numerous people elsewhere. I was taken to a hotel with an inconvenient location with nothing around, I’m appalled by the lack of structure and devotion to its customers. I’ve also historically stayed at Alvida……

“I stayed at Basilica Resort in Paphos and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel itself feels a bit dated, but it’s well looked after, especially in the common areas which are clean and nicely maintained. The layout is spread across several buildings, giving it a more relaxed, village like atmosphere rather than a single large structure. The main pool area is enjoyable and a good spot to unwind.
