Hojnacki's Cedar Hideaway is a place where you can relax and have your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the sounds of nature, watch the fish jump from the dock in the early evening, or enjoy the beach and lake in the summer and snowmobiling or skiing in the winter, plus check out the new Pickle Ball courts! All these dreams and more can be yours at Hojnacki's Cedar Hideaway. HCH is located at 5311 Aberdeen Lodge Circle and tucked away in the woods on the Aberdeen Resort grounds, on the Manitowish Waters chain of lakes. This lovely cedar sided home is truly a delight and you are only minutes from the best fishing, boating, skiing, and snowmobiling in the area.

The home is 2250 sq. ft., and the perfect home for vacation offering an open concept living/dining area, two outdoor decks, picnic table, grill, and a fire pit. Attached 2 car garage will keep sleds warm in the winter and a large turn around driveway with plenty of parking for boat or snowmobile trailers.

* Dishwasher, disposal, microwave, stove and refrigerator are all included. * SmartTV and WIFI. *lounge/game room with a convert-a-couch in lower level. We will allow max. 2 dogs with additional dog fee per dog and strict rules must be followed.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Take all trash to dumpsters in the Aberdeen Lodge restaurant parking lot.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

An hourly charge of $50 for arrivals prior to check-in or departures after check-out time and arranged in advance with host..
All pet waste must be picked up. Pets are not allowed on furniture including beds.
Trash / recycling should be taken to the appropriate dumpster in the Aberdeen Lodge parking lot. $75 charge for trash left on the property.

Best cabin experience ever

We loved staying at Manitowish Waters! Our family enjoyed all of the amenities included while staying at the cabin, including the beach, dock, fire pit. The Lodge served fantastic food and the location is the best.

Winter getaway

We've stayed here several times and always enjoy our time. The house is clean, comfortable, and is located on a beautiful property. We enjoyed walking to the restaurant next door for dinner and the kids were able to play in the (little bit of) snow.

This was our second stay at the Cedar Hideaway. It is so convenient to many great cross-country ski trails. The home is located in a quite beautiful area.

Northwoods Family Vacation

Our 4th year in a row! We love this home, area, week of famy fun. Another year of making wonderful lifelong memories. We enjoyed the swimming, skiing, inner tubing, biking, golfing and just being together in your beautiful home. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Very relaxing & nice winter get away Up North!

Beautiful and very clean home that was perfect for our large group (5 adults & 5 kids). Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. We relaxed by the nice gas fire stove each morning & evening. We enjoyed winter hikes & loved Aberdeen’s Supper Club next door which we walked to! Highly recommend venturing out to Minocqua Winter Park for an afternoon. We rented XC skis for the group. Great home in a nice quiet setting. Highly recommend for any season!

Beautiful, Spacious Property!!

Can't say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home! 7 of us went up on a snowmobile trip. The bedrooms were perfect and beds very comfortable. Really liked the open living area including kitchen, family room, kitchen table and massive breakfast bar. Snowmobile trails were very close to the property and easily accessible. Owner, Lorrie, was very accommodating and friendly. Can't to return!

Great Family Cabin

Lorrie’s cabin is the perfect spot in the northwoods for a family getaway. Located in Manitowish Waters, WI there are many quaint restaurants just a short drive away to enjoy and explore. The cabin was just as shown in the photos and spotless when we arrived. The back deck was so nice for coffee and breakfast in the mornings and the fire pit in the backyard was perfect for evening bonfires and s’mores. Lorrie was very responsive to any questions beforehand and checked in the day after our arrival too! A short walk to the community beach area with row boats and canoes available for use and even a playground if you have littles with you. The Aberdeen Lodge is nearby too and has great views of the water from the restaurant. Highly recommend booking this cabin for a family-friendly northwoods getaway!

Annual Summertime Family Outing

The Cedar Hideaway was super nice and we had a great experience with eight adults and two small children. The layout was ideal and the rooms were very spacious, clean and lots of closet space. The kitchen was well equipped and fully functional for a large family dinner. The ping pong table and fire pit were nice to have. Having access to the garage also worked out well as it rained the first day we arrived. The check-in an check-out processes were very clear. Lorrie and Warren were very responsive and easy to work with. If you have a larger group this is ideal. We hope to stay again very soon.

Overall great place and space for a group

The house was set up very nicely and decorated great! Lots of kitchen utensils and kitchen items to cook for with a group. The reason I gave this place 4 stars vs 5 stars is because at 7:50am people were there mowing the lawn right near our windows, doors and even came right up on the deck and front porch while we were sitting there and woke those up who were still sleeping. Gas from their power tools were blowing into the house because we had the windows open. I would suggest moving their time to do this from 10-2 while housekeeping is there during checkout. But definitely not 7:50am. Otherwise, very nice place overall! Hopefully this was a one off situation.

Don’t waste your time!

Heat wasn’t turned on at check-in so house was freezing. Key wasn’t in lock box when we got there. It was in the back door so anyone could have been in the house. Very unsafe. Directions said take garbage to dumpster but there wasn’t one. Charged us 50 for cleaning ladies to take it to the dumpster at the restaurant down the road.

Nice quiet and private home

The vacation home was very nice, quiet and private. We would consider staying there again. The only downside is for the price your dock and boat are not in the backyard. If not for that the rating would be excellent.

Jewel of the North(woods)

This cabin is absolutely perfect for a week/end visit to the Northwoods. The location is ideal - just feet from the beautiful Aberdeen lodge and restaurant and less than a mile from the lakefront - the scenery and walkability is unmatched. The cabin itself is great for 4 couples / multiple families and even kiddos. There is lots of room for activities both indoors (game room downstairs and large family room/dining room) and outdoors (great patio and fire pit in the back yard). Lorrie was communicative and informative. We would absolutely visit again!
