A perfectly nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was fine, a little small, and the double bed was the fairly common German style, basically two beds pushed together. Facilities were ok, but it would have been nice to have a bar in which to relax. Not really what I expected from an IHG hotel, but the lovely staff made up for it.

Ok but not in the summer
Nice hotel but not in the summer, they don’t have ac. We got a fan but it was still warm. Perfekt if you just stay a night and travelling by train.

Very clean hotel, decent size room, daily housekeeping. Breakfast was pretty good too- few types of youghurt, toppings for them, eggs, sausage, meats and cheeses, fruits, bread and spreads, juices and coffee. The only thing I didn't like is that doors slam when people don't hold them, and it was hard to fall asleep because the neighbors were going in and out and not holding the door to close quietly. Need some kind of stoppers or something. Hotel is right next to the train station so it was easy to get here, but you don't hear the trains. Tons of shopping nearby.

It’s an okay three star hotel. Very clean and recently renovated. It’s in an older building, so there’s only so much a renovation can do.
Our room has windows that can be opened (which is fine with us in October weather) but no ventilation system that I can find. There’s already a floor standing fan when we got into the room. I guess that says something.
The room itself is very small. Tokyo and Hong Kong small. It’s not easy to open a checked luggage in that room without having it on the bed. Bathroom is relatively roomier than the room itself.
Beds are comfortable though.
