“Lots of stairs”

“THE BOLTHOLE liegt im Stadtteil Westbrook von Margate und ich würde diesen Teil als "Cottage-Viertel" bezeichnen, denn Margate selbst ist ein, in die Jahre gekommener Badeort der Briten, der leider schon bessere Zeiten erlebt hat. Für Ausflüge nach Canterbury, Dover, Whistable und viele weitere sehenswerte Punkte in Kent ist die Lage aber perfekt. “Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The living room was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the garden was great. We got lots of sun on the decking and adored the sauna! The upstairs bedrooms are bright and large. The bedroom with the en-suite is small but cosy. The en-suite is more of a wet room but that was fine for a couple of days. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Margate which we found totally reasonable. ”

“Great cottage style accommodation. Kitchen/dinner, living room with a sofa the turns into two separate single beds, bathroom with powerful shower and comfy double bed on upper floor. Tv in living room and kitchen. Great for our family of four with two teen kids. Will visit again!”

“Great location, comfortable living room with lovely view out over the beach and harbour. Kitchen and shower room are snug, but fully functional. We had a really good time.”
