I reserved a room for a week, and I experienced discomfort from Tuesday night until Saturday due to no air conditioning. Despite notifying the :front desk, no action was taken. The A/C unit was malfunctioning, with warm air circulating, due to freezing issues. The maintenance personnel arrived only when I was preparing to check out. Which resulted in several days of discomfort without proper cooling and persistent water leakage from the unit. Proper measures were finally addressed following my slip and fall incident caused by the leak.

Reading all the bad ratings and reviews about this accomodation we were prepared for the worst. But what we expected was a total and pleasant surprise. Room was spacious, clean, had a microwave, lamp with USB charger, pool is big. Complimentary coffee in the morning above the coffee in the room. The best thing was the silent air conditioning unit in the room, not those bulky loud as an airboat american AC. So those bad ratings about that you can hear the noise from the road and the cockcrow that is because there was silence in the room. Traffic noise was not disturbing at all and could only hear it during the night if you are up, not tired and listening, but it is not going to wake you up, neither the cockcrow. Only negative was that the wifi in the west wing was very weak and spotty.

De accomandatie ligt niet centraal. In marathon is wenig tot niets te doen en erg weinig diner opties. Key west is ruim 1.5 uur rijden. Het hotel ligt naast een vliegveld. Elke 5 minuten komt er een 1 motorig vliegtuig over. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim. De kamers worden dagelijks schoon gemaakt. Het zwembad is schoon maar diep. Hotel biedt geen ontbijt en is in de buurt ook moeilijk te vinden.

We liked the fact that the property has its own boat ramp and available docks for rent. What we didnt like, although staff tries hard to be receptive to guests, the property is in desperate need of repairs. Our air conditioner broke down completely, they had to buy a portable unit for our living room, and install another they had in our bedroom barely kept up and noisy but at least we had some relief. The docks are falling completely apart, one was totally unusable, our tv didnt work, never came on. Alot of chickens and roosters loose running around, and wake you up. Walls in bathrooms are very thin, you can hear "everything" in neighboring room! All kinds of silly rules, yet when you bring these things up, that are wrong with the place, seems like rules dont apply to them, just you! ALL ice machines were broken, no ice at all, on site...again not trying to say staff didnt try, they tried their best, but the ownership is to blame, everything is in need of serious repair.
