2025 Sunny Stay

Had a great time at this property! Everything was as expected. We love to fish/boat and had taken our boat with us. The access to bayside is amazing. The neighbors on both sides were awesome also!

Nice house and lovely outdoor area

House met my family’s needs but the weather was bad. The wind was strong and filled the canal with sea grass and it never went away. House was nice size but could do with a pillow upgrade. The linens were pretty and beds were ok. The fire pit was a plus since the weather was cool.

We love Marathon!

Great property with canal access. My kids loved dropping lines in the canal and catching fish. It was the first thing they did every morning. Had quite a few bites! We were visited by manatees, jellyfish, pelicans, egrets, and iguanas daily. The porch and yard were so relaxing to just hang out in. Bike rental and fishing equipment rentals were just up the road. This is a great central location to explore the keys. Sombrero beach was very close as was the grocery stores and some great food trucks and eateries. The Cabana Club was awesome. Nice big pool and great staff. We even saw dolphins swimming at the private beach there. Memories made.

Lovely home but sleeps only 4

The home is lovely. It’s well located and near many shops and restaurants, though not walking distance. The location on a canal is nice, though we didn’t have a boat. We saw a lot of sea anemone and jellyfish. Our neighbor attracted a manatee as he washed his boat. There are a lot of pelicans flying by and hanging out. We were there for a month and enjoyed use of the Cabana Club. Take note: The ad says it sleeps 6 but it only sleeps 4. There are only 4 dining room chairs and no folding chairs available. The entrance to the home is a large sliding door and lacks a screen. This limited any breeze or listening to the birds. It’s quite near the airport which didn’t bother us but some guests found it noisy.

Successful week of nothing but sun and water

Absolutely no complaints!. There were no issues from the minute we opened the door to when we left. Everything was clean and just as pictured. Easy access with our boat rental in and out of the canal and through channels from either gulfside or to Oceanside. Our goal was to just fish and run the waters the entire time and it was amazing. Only drove the car 3 times the entire week. Would absolutely rent again if we are able to next year!

Marathon VRBO

An excellent, pleasant property that we thoroughly enjoyed. The property is adjacent to the Marathon airport, but the noise was tolerable and not constant. We would rent this property again!!

Paradise in Marathon

What a beautiful vacation home! As perfect as the pictures listed plus more. The wildlife in the canal was amazing. We saw a huge manatee in the water before we even unlocked the doors! Snapper, barracuda, sharks, and the day we left there was a large sea turtle hanging out by the dock while I had coffee. Don't forget the iguanas everywhere, adorable. Great central location for everything you could want to do. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend R & K!
