Disappoining stay
We recently stayed at this property and while the home itself is beautiful and has great potential, our experience was unfortunately frustrating due to several issues.The homeowner was very responsive, which we appreciated. When we realized the refrigerator/freezer wasn’t working upon arrival, he responded quickly and let us know to use the outdoor fridge. However, by the time we noticed, our food had already been sitting in the indoor fridge for several hours, and the outdoor fridge was not conveniently located. The next moring, we noticed the fridge/freezer were working again and we transport our food back.The biggest disappointment was the lack of cleanliness—there was a large hairball in the master shower, and the overall condition of the house did not reflect a properly cleaned rental. Additionally, the plumbing in 3 of the 6 bathrooms was poor, which caused added stress for our group.Again, it’s a lovely home with great bones, but the lack of basic upkeep—no working fridge, poor plumbing, and zero cleaning attention—made our stay far more difficult than it should have been.
