This charming Lakeside Chautauqua cottage at 448 Jasmine has it all! The cottage has been completely updated to include all the necessary travel amenities of today, while maintaining its charm and history. It is situated on a quiet, centrally located street within the gated community. Begin and end your day with the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets just a short walk from your front porch.
This one-story cottage, situated on two lots, features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, accommodating 8 to 10 people. Over the past couple of years, the cottage has undergone a complete transformation during the remodel, featuring new paint, flooring, a remodeled bathroom, updated lighting, central air conditioning, a new roof, and a composite deck. The cottage is professionally cleaned and immaculate inside and out.
The cottage is welcoming and allows for a family to be together while taking advantage of the multiple sitting, reading, and TV areas. The street in front is flat and great for playing catch, hitting a tennis ball, or riding scooters and bikes, allowing children to stay close by. The backyard’s composite deck, grass, and partial shade will enable you to relax while cooking on the charcoal grill and enjoying a cold beverage.

Lakeside Chautauqua is a gated community during its summer season, offering a plethora of daily programming to nurture the minds, bodies, and spirits of visitors of all ages. Lakeside Chautauqua is a step back in time to a place where values, traditions, and family remain the focus.
The community includes seminars, downtown shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, parks, beach area, splash water pad for kids, swimming pool, sailing, paddleboards, playgrounds, basketball, tennis (clay and hardcourt), mini-golf, shuffleboard, art classes, worship services, picnics, a variety of exhibits and art shows, ice cream, coffee shop and nightly entertainment. There truly is something for all ages. Bicycles, golf carts, and walking (especially a stroll down Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile along the Lakefront) are the main modes of transportation at Lakeside.
PLEASE NOTE: When staying in Lakeside during its summer season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, all guests ages 5 and up will be required to purchase daily or weekly passes. Please check the Lakeside Chautauqua website for more information.
Please note that a two-night minimum applies for the majority of the year. The Saturday after Memorial Day through the middle of August, books are available Saturday to Saturday for a seven-day minimum.
Linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, starter coffee, toilet paper, and paper towels are provided for the guests' use. Please bring your beach towels for the lake and pool. No smoking inside the cottage.
Dog-friendly: Small to medium-sized dogs are welcome with prior approval and an additional fee of $175 per stay or per week.
